Probably the best soondubu on the westside. Does the job of offering comfort food . Has Galbi and bibimbap as well
This and Seoul down the st are my fav places to get tofu soup !!! So good! So good! Best I've had!! Glass Noodles for the win! Woot woot!
Tofu Ya has awesome soon tofu , even compared with K-town places I've been too (easily better than BCD...) The broth is way better here than at the new Seoul place down the street as well .
Super fast service !! Ur always being taken care of in just seconds. Never waiting. But tables are full and food is amazing!
The bimbimbap is just as good if not BETTER than what you get in Koreatown
Great spot for a tasty bite. For those fellow foodies out there who know about ktown , this place is still worth trying once. You just might decide to put TofuYa into your dining rotation.
Good value and fast service . Get the tasty combos with the soup . You crack the egg in the soup to cook it.
Got the kimchi and beef tofu soup . Had good flavor and an excellent alternative to BCD
I love the bbq beef rib dish here. The beef comes out on a sizzling hot plate! We all love sizzling beef on a plate...right?! The appetizers they bring out are out of this world.
Good and cheap Korean food . The beef combo menu is delightful.
Get the Hot stone pot! It's only $9.99 and comes with all the delicious sides
Can ask do veggie broth , instead of the usual beef broth with your tofu soup !
Anything below spicy can truly be a little bland w/ the tofu dishes . I wasn't a fan of soon-tofu until I gave the spicy a shot!
Great food! Upgraded menu but noticed that while prices stayed the same some portions got smaller (Kalbi ) :(
Large portions of food. Small discount when paid in cash.
Pay with cash and get a small discount (~$1 on a bill of $26)
Really enjoyed the kimchi tofu . They didn't understand me when I spoke Korean. Too bad. I wanted to practice
best Korean food not in ktown . no BBQ on the table, but solid galbi and soon tofu . pork bulgogi is tight. 10-20 a person not bad either.
Check out Tofu Ya as seen on 24 in 24 Read more
Try the #9 tofu soup . Dumpling goodness
Get the bulgogi combo!
The "Spicy " level wasn't hot enough...next time, I'm going extra spicy !
Choice beef short plate. I WANT NOTHING ELSE EVER.
Everything is awesome, but the bulgogi & dumpling soon are must orders
Mushroom beef .... YUM!
come with an empty stomach, leave happy and satisfied :D
Galbi will change your life. Not even a joke.
AmEx not accepted here.
Menu is outdated
Split a Dolsot Bibimbop / Sundubu Combo with your significant other. It'll cost $7 each and you'll be more than full. Delicious!
Parking is tough esp @ night.
Decent if you're close & don't want to drive to Ktown . And don't mind super slow & inattentive service.
I think this place is better than bdc in my opinion
Kimchi fried rice w/the most perfectly cooked egg ever—ask for 2!! Other favs: kimchi pancake, bibimbap, spicy pork, & anything w/the rice cakes. - 1-900-OK-FACE
KIMBAP!!! 김밥!! Good price for the amount of food you get. Nice modern interior - michael devero
Mushroom Soon Tofu (extra spicy) was out of this world! - Sam Licker
Hands down, the best place for boba tea in L.A. (and I've been to most places near Monterey Park). The almond and coconut milk teas are my favorites. Now I'm ready to explore the rest of the menu. - J Lago
The bakery inside has some good cakes. Try the cream cheese cake. Light, fluffy, and delicious. - Amy
