Miles of trails along the scenic Huron River to walk, run or ride a bike . Enjoy some kayak , canoe or paddle boat fun.
Rent canoes , kayaks , paddle boats . You can go on longer canoe/kayak trips where they take you out in a van and you return there.
Rent a kayak or canoe . Due to drought, sometimes the trips where they drive you to Barton Dam to Gallup are canceled b/c you'd just drag.
Pretty trail , a place to rent different things like kayaks , and a good place to take kids fishing !
Canoe livery, picnic areas & shelters, trails .
Great park . Bike trail needs resurfacing from Geddes Dam to Mitchel Field , but its still my favorite place to ride.

The nature area is amazing but the kayak rental employees are awful. They are very unfriendly, rude and not helpful at all.

Rent a canoe and canoe down the Huron River
Awesome playground. One of the coolest, biggest, most modern playgrounds I've seen. It's very popular for good reason. Nice rubber padding, etc. Even a big sand pit. - Ben Spedoske
