Ignore the negative reviews, this is legit Szechuan food . The water boiled pork (with tingly peppers ) is one of my favorite dishes ever. Cumin dry beef and "ants marching up a tree " are also awesome.
Pretty much everything we ordered is excellent. Seriously worth coming to this place if you feel like Chinese food . Even more perfect if you're into Sichuan. Great staff , friendly to families
Super satisfied with the food; had to have three bowls of rice tho coz the dishes are very spicy ! Probably the best Sichuan restaurant in London !?
The tofu was great. I sort of disagree with vegetarian food too :) oh and the sea bass was excellent. I hope you like Chilli
Great food - looks pricey but large portion size. Gong bao chicken , Dan Dan noodles , hor fun all delicious. Recommend
Very authentic Sichuan food - I would know having lived in China for 15 years! That being said, it’s very expensive , and I think Sichuan Folk nr. Brick lane has arguably better food at half the price.
The fish fragrant pork slivers are amazing. Along with the gong bao chicken , lotus root slices and smacked cucumbers you can't go wrong. A proper culinary experience. Highly recommended.
Excellent spicy food and smart decor. Not cheap but worth it. Try the pork knuckle and believe them when they say things are hot! (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Spiciest Chinese in town . The chili sea bass a must. But go easy ...can burn your stomach.
Great choices of vegetarian appetiser and main dishes!
Good to have this as a change from the usual Chinatown options. V authentic so my friends tell me though I haven't been brave enough to try some of the more exotic offal dishes
We live in shanghai and were very happy to find a good Sichuan restaurant on our visit to London. Great food :-)
Yummy french beans and 'mouth watering' chicken . Strange as hell decor, including the tomb-like facade blocking the supposed main entrance (feng shui?). Refreshingly friendly/useful staff !
Great soho Sichuanese . Also highly recommend the fish like aubergine . Super tasty!
Traditional Chengdu style food. Really good.
Great food, especially the spicy potatoes , bear bean curd and fish like aubergine .
Excellent Chinese/ Sichuan even for a Chinese!
Great food but only if you can handle spicy stuff! Awesome Ma Po Tofu ...
Really excellent food. Just go easy with the chilli bravado - the food is truly hot.
Similar menu to sister restaurant Bashan, but more expensive . Recommend the dry wok dishes, but generally prefer Bashan!
As close as it gets to the real thing. It's a sign of authenticity when Chinese people goto to eat there...
Spicy boiled beef . Very nice! Very spicy ! Lip tingling schezuan peppers .
my fav Sichuan restaurant in London

To get Málà spicy ; you must ask for it.
Order the twice cooked pork and cloud-ear mushrooms . Be warned, food is spicy !
Amazing spicy food ! NOM NOM NOM!
Chongqing spicy chicken and his and hers appetizer
High quality Sichuanese food.
Chilli sea bass , spicy food
Burn your lips off at the best chinese restaurant in the world. The house special sea bass in chili oil is epic
Awesome! hot Szechuan peppercorn-infused food, and cooling vinegared sides like jellyfish . My kind of date night .
Foods are good, although not authentic . The food portions are large though.
Chilli chicken !
Warning, if you don't like very hot food, please avoid this place. Otherwise, food is good and tasty
Expensive but very good

Try the Ma Po Tofu , absolutely delicious
Pork knuckle !! Take it and run!
Expensive, but authentic Sichuan cuisine . The menu is almost identical to Spice Spirit in Beijing though the prices are high. Expect £30 per head. Read more
The tofu , the tofu ! Spank and lick ;)
The food is normally great however on my last visit I had the worst food poisoning I've ever had. Good luck
Rice with spicy meat
Food has gone down in quality, service is lacking, grumpy, and slow. The dishes used to be much more vibrant, distinctive, and layered. Now, they taste greasy and flat.
A must for chilli munchers!
Try the beef marinated in Sichuan pepper . Weird, weird, totally tongue numbing weirdness.
Overpriced but okay. I was not that impressed.
Erm... To be honest, this might be some peoples idea of lovely but it really wasn't mine... Don't order anything... Get out quick! Staff were rude and unhelpful too. Nill points!
Very rude. Awful service
