Crazy lively place ! The place you wanna be if you're up to meeting the locals and trying out local delicacies or small eateries . Lots of expats and blue collared workers. Beers , shocho.. tons of them!

An amazing alley full of izakaya , where each spills over to the next. Seems like you can order from whichever one you want, regardless of where you sit. Watch out for the hot chicken wings !

Perfect place for drinks after dinner , karaoke , Beatles guitar singer and all sorts of Japanese craziness! Buzzy atmosphere and really great fun!

A must-go to place. An inside alley/food court. Crowded , effortless and yummy. And the best part? The all you can drink/sing karaoke room where you'll definitely make new friends.

Classic Tokyo izakaya culture jam-packed into tiny alleyways stuffed with izakayas for every taste (seafood , meat, even vegetarian !). The best place to bar-hop and to try new nibbles.

Lots of izakayas in a cool indoor yokocho. Mostly locals which gives it a cool vibe. Take someone who speaks Japanese!

Its all legit Izakaya for salarymen . Few English menus but most staff knows some key words (chicken , pork , etc). You take the plunge, you get rewarded with delicious.

Make no mistake, this is where the locals hang out. Great atmosphere. Mostly salarymen blowing off steam from work. Would definitely recommend it.

Love it. Lots of little restaurants with all types of food and drink. We were lucky to have a host. I’d check to make sure they were tourist friendly but definitely worth checking out.

All sorts of lively places to drink beer , sake , cocktails and more. Check out "Nikuzushi": they specialize in meats masquerading as sushi !

If you’re a stranger who would like to eat here, mushroom place Kinoko won’t disappoint you. Two dishes and drink are enough for a light meal

Intimidating for tourist

Not tourist friendly . I was refused service here at 2 different stalls because I was not Japanese (American). Very uncomfortable.

トイレの数が少ないです。尿意を感じたらお早めに！
