Every trip to Newport requires a trip here. There is something for everyone: the mid-level is more laid back , while the basement doubles as a nightclub . The espresso martini is highly recommended. Read more

The Boom Boom Room is located in the basement . It's the best place to go on Saturday night. Line gets long after 11 p.m. Fun dancing . #newport

Doreen Dinour

Super romantic . Grab a table on the 2nd floor by the windows, get a bottle of wine and some delicious seafood and you'll love it. Don't forget to order the snowball dessert !

Kelly Cleaver-McNally

Fabulous menu and service. Great place to have a chowder and drink by one of the 2 fireplaces . Filet and Peppered Tuna a favorite, and the Snowball in Hell ! Don't miss!

Elyse Estrada

Ask for the sushi menu, it's delicious! Then order a filet mignon and have yourself a little surf and turf and delight your tastebuds.

????Coco

Try the Clam Chowder , it's a bit lighter than Traditional New Clam Chowder and very tasty!

Mirella Broyles

Great place. Great friendly service and excellent energy. Food was very good too

David Carr

Best spot for people watching in Newport! Great food and drinks too.

Rob Howe

Absolute Favorite Restaurant in Newport. Make reservation ... You can also eat at the bars (there are 3 different bars !). Mussels w Fries are awesome.

Binta Brown

Best crab cake ever. Amazing local oysters . Sole entree definitely enough for two people. Full and happy. Will def return!

Mateusz Jan Kuras

Perfect food! Everything worth its price ;) Very good fried calamaries , sushi & seafood pasta ! Worth coming!

Lesley Draper

Grab a seat at the Sushi Bar or Oyster Bar . Summer Sushi is the best. Not to be missed.

Larisa Grollemond

Lots of seating and nice wharf views , solid food, but the wait can get lengthy at peak times.

Justin

Great fresh fish . Chill local scene. Good vibes.

Julia M

Downstairs disco called "The Candy Store ". Sushi bar in the summer. Great restaurant/bar upstairs. Night out place for the locals, very well known.

Barbara Derecktor Donahue

Trying sushi for the first time here ???? ..... Date night # 2 yay !

Allie Herzog

yummy seafood , skip the chowder and save room for the snowball in hell desert instead. Oh. My. God. Sogood!

Brooks Doyne

Sit upstairs by the fire and just get oysters and mussels . Thank me later.

Jamie Bloomquist

In the winter, fireplace . In the summer, water's edge. Upstairs you'll find America's Cup history. Great Newport stop.

Robin Harkins

The locals' place to be "seen". Expensive but fun. Boom boom room is a must

Jessie

Favorite restaurant when not in NYC; must get the chowder - dill , bacon , heaven.

Jolene

Spicy fish special plate is a winner.

David Hyatt

Place is all abuzz. Great food. Great service. Great people watching .

Pooja Reddy

Inexpensive scotch ! Macallan 18 for $15, woot!

Glenn Cochran

The candy store burger is hard to beat for burger lovers

Conor Noonan

I'd recommend against sitting downstairs. The tables for two people are tiny. We were sitting on beach chairs with a tiny piece of wood for a table. For a relatively upmarket restaurant , it was awful.

Mike Irving

Lobster ravioli appetizer is one of the best things I've ever tasted.

Jayne Travers

A Newport experience. Make reservations for a table by a window. The atmosphere is pure Newport.

David Lynch

The shrimp was excellent but the chicken sandwich was avg.

HAMMER !

Get the mussels and the sole...on fleek

Tyler Stone

The best party rocking in Newport. Grab a drink and let go.

Christine Voncannon

Order the calamari , it's amazing!

Jess Marabella

Vegetable burger is amazing!

Michael Tuntevski

Surprised by the high rating. Overpriced establishment with subpar food. Our lobster did not taste fresh and the servers were not attentive. Crab cake was dry but not terrible.

Jaime G

Delicious eggs homard for brunch !

Ardvaark

Two words: Johnny Cakes .

Brendan Gotch

It's better than the Pearl !!

Cihan Ersan

Swordfish ...

Jim Schultz

Snowball In Hell is hands down the best desert I have ever had...

Tyler Stone

The Boom Boom Room. 'Nuff said.

Don't show up if you're a) not over 65 (the crowd here is old/lame) b) not wearing a collared shirt .
