It is really busy on peak time. Try to avoid rush hours. Prices as usual.

Every time I purchase the organic chicken , I set off the alarms upon exit. Every. Dang. Time. Embarrassing and annoying.

I have heard that Sainsurys in Balham are planning to do away with tills and going fully self service .. Why they can't stay the same using both methods for paying I really do not know.

Nothing much, except convenience when in Balham, which is most times we go shopping. Always poorly stocked and food goes bad very quickly... Fruit , Bread and most perishables don't last long.

Queues for self service tills on the Balham High Road side can be horrendous on weekday evenings...

A deceptive looking store from one side... I can confirm its definitely not a Sainsbury's Local.
