Unbelievable food. Cool shared table rule. Platter is great price. Food is fresh, a few rogue fruit flies...
Fresh seafood , had the Keralan fish curry which was great. Only critique would be the seasoning as the flavour was missing just a little punch.
Everything here is lavishly prepared and presented. Staff rock. Monkfish cheek tempura is excellent. Every £50 spent gets stamp on loyalty card. 5 stamps = free main course, Ive just had the lobster !
Maybe a little pricey but definitely worth it. Great service, excellent food. Treat yourself to the lobster thermidor. Benchmark!!
Place is brilliant. Food is great. Oysters are fresh, vagrant. Very good place to dine
Oysters were delicious. Funky candlelit venue, shared tables and friendly staff .
Lovely seafood bar with character and tasty dishes
Good service . Fresh fish . Tasty wine . Seating arrangement (sharing tables ) is an interesting idea.
Superb food. Rather than main dish we ordered several starters! They even have asahi beer ! Highly recommended!
Not as good as The Salt Room but a solid choice fish dishes . Cozy atmosphere .
Great place for a special night out and for some really good seafood and wine !
Gotta say the manager Nigel: top man! Really made an effort & very attentive. See me on Twitter @busy_dan for more!
You can't book ahead which is a pain, but the food and service were top notch.
Fish of the day. Ask for it. Then eat it!
Sister outlet can be found in The Rotunda, 65 Kings Road , Brighton
Had such a wonderful time there & the staff were great. It's a real shame my friend and I spent the rest of the evening with food poisoning.
Fresh seafood , service and atmosphere
We had oysters , lobster and a bottle of chablis. All more than excellent. Highly recommended place.
Whitebait , fresh grilled bream and crab absolutely amazing place, romantic too!
Try the mussels with chilli and ginger
Shellfish and squid risotto - highly recommended!
Overrated. Had chowder and it was super salty. Oysters were only ok. Waiter was very uninformed on menu or anything else for that matter. As a seafood lover, I cannot recommend.
Lovely place with great food!
I don't care how popular your restaurant is, there is no excuse for rudeness to customers who simply ask for service. I hear the food is very good but I won't be going back to try it.
Very respectable fish restaurant
Good food. Shame about the stupid seating arrangements .
Try the Lobster mango salad for lunch
Very crowded
Terrible service, average food. They add in a discretionary cover charge and a service tip, which is not great. Servers were very rude and only paid attention to us when we were paying.
Great oyster bar
Chech your bill. There was a 6£ per person "cover charge " 4 bread we didn't order. They took it off when we enquired about it. If there 4 lunch ask for fish 2 b cooked less. Food was all over cooked
Get the Jersey oysters !
amazing seafood , used to do good lunch deals might still do...
The clam chowder is good service also good.
Manager is very rude. Lovely food but absolute shame about the staff that works there. Puts me off going back again.
Great oysters !
Outstanding food. World class seafood. Brilliant Service and wonderful wine list. - J Cee
Really great sea food, fab for Oyster lovers, cosy atmosphere, love it here! - Artsmonkey 1
Great cocktails, especially if beginning the evening early, it’s worth popping in here beforehand. ???????????????? - Robert Henderson
Brighton is amazing, and the seafront with its beach makes it great. - Marco
This is 2nd time I have typed this & hope doesn't appear twice. Great place to visit, historical, strange, wonderful, amazing dragons, £10.50 a ticket, cream team is great (£5.50) well worth visit. - Steve Kelly
Great venue, good views from most seats. Get to the bar early as it gets busy! - Chris R (thechristophe)
