The Olympic Stadium hosted the Athletics and Paralympic Athletics events at the London 2012 Games, as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. The Stadium is located in the south of the Olympic Park on an ‘island’ site, surrounded by waterways on three sides.

If you're impressed by the stadium , and want to see more inside, they now do stadium tours . Either self guided with a multimedia device or with a personal guide. Check their website for details.
They have done a great job, fab place for children and plenty to see and do. But the park needs more food outlets & public toilets , everything in place at the moment is either full or hard to find!
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium :awesome for Athletics.Highly recommended.Enjoying the 2016 Anniversary Games today.Close to Stratford and Stratford International stations, a Premier Inn & Holiday Inn .
Currently known as The London Stadium and now home to West Ham United football club...come on you irons ⚒
You visit the changing rooms and pitch side the dug out and the MLB dressing room and the lounges and interview flash rooms and walk down the tunnel .
Don't worry about finding the place ok during the games - it's clearly signposted and event staff are available en route to point you in the right direction. (Or just follow the crowds!)
Probably the worst-designed modern stadium in existence. Really glad we all chipped in to make it happen.
Home of my favourite football team, I try and visit this place whenever I come to London
Block 238 Row 57 Seat 381 very well located for Athletics (or Football ) though in centre of row rather than staircase.
Paid for by tax paying Londoners, it's a nice place to watch track & field athletics…
Soulless stadium basically next to a huge mall and offices . A huge part of the audience consists of tourists . Never experienced a stadium with 60k attendance being so quiet during a game. Sad.
This summer's Olympics games in London generated 28% less CO2 emissions than was forecast. The organizers had promised the 2012 edition would be "the greenest games ever". Mission: accomplished.
Saw a tiny bit of Guardiola’s bald head. And the billions of blood oil money on the field , of course.
Watch RWC2015 South Africa vs USA. Great stadium with electrifying atmosphere. Easy access too
Amazing Site! Make sure you go up the Orbit Tower to get a panoramic view around London and a look down into the stadium .
Excellent venue. Glad to see it being used after the Olympics finished.
Have a sit and think about the incredible things that happened here. You start to understand what's so special about it.
Great leg room and don't believe all the bad press about the views .
I love theese types of buildings. Really nice place and landmark .
Great stadium that is brought to life on match day.
Not yet received legendary status but sure to have some special moments at the 2012 Olympics. You can take a tour there now so check it out if you can.
This is the best place to watch any game! Great people, great times!
Incredible stadium filled with memories of the London Olympics in 2012.
The seats are comfortable ! Lots of room.
The food outside the stadium is still better than inside - though overpriced.
If you like it then ya shoulda put a roof on it
At the heart of this summer’s Olympic Games, the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, east London, will hold up to 80,000.
Not a well designed arena which lose some of the atmosphere. But still quite impressive.
This place went wild as the music of Queen came on, followed by Lennon's Imagine. Now ... George Michael!!!
Did you know that the main beams of the Olympic Stadium are made with dis-used gas pipes?
Eat before you arrive, I know it's a dress rehearsal, but it's super busy.
Check out the container cafe near Pudding Mill station. Very laid back and cool place.
Incredibly poor choice of beer on sale inside the stadium .
Look out for the waterfall that flows letters. It's under the main exit bridge . Amazing!
A lot could be better, the food sold by the outside vendors is way overpriced and leaving the stadium is far from slick, however it's not as bad inside as the media would have you believe.
Sit outside in the park for as long as you can before the gig starts.
I should come to this stadium ....while visiting Adyt in Desember....Hope the UK Vissa will be issued for me n my wife...
Watching Mo Farah take his second Gold and Bolt break a World Record, is one of the best experiences ever
Great stadium for athletics
Huge and beautiful stadium
Try the short cut through Westfield :)
For a rugby match ensure you're on the lower tier...
Amazing place
Not the greatest atmosphere for watching football (soccer ) as it is too big and away from pitch
So proud :) #London2012 Danny Boyle's outstanding statement of intent #Olympics
You can't bring in any food or drink & be prepared to queue forever for anything!
MLB London Series
Now being used for Rugby World Cup and WHU home games
Plan your journey and place of arrival before heading off, points of entry are still very limited.
Inside the stadium
Located outside the stadium, by bridge 5, the store is spread over two floors, upper has majority of WHUFC merchandise, whereas lower level has a cafe, toilets and a personalised merchandise station. - Jack Smith
Amazing soccer stadium. A lot of food and drink places and the staff is very helpful and polite. - Rodrigo Vaz
I was here for the NFL Game rooting for my Carolina Panthers! The stadium is incredible, food great, staff helpful and a brewery inside the stadium? Hell yes! What an amazing day! - Karis Page

I adore this place! The vibe, the energy... Everything! - Milenko Pilic
Nice place. Does get a bit busy on weekends but that's to be expected. Good variety of places for lunch. Must check bubbleology on the top floor. Awesome drinks! - Richard Stokes
Went on a Weds in December and had a fantastic afternoon. Blissfully free of crowds, amazing views out over the city and (despite being sceptical) the slide was a lot of fun too. Highly recommended. - Russell Barnes
