Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a 170 room hotel, spa & resort located in Palm Springs, CA. It's on the grounds of a renovated mid-century modern motel, within walking distance of downtown. It's close to cool stuff like Joshua Tree, the Salton Sea and all kinds of historic desert modern architecture.
701 E Palm Canyon Dr (at Indian Trl.) Palm Springs , CA 92264 United States
Such a wonderfull place. The ACE was the first stop on our honeymoon trip through California. Totally in love with the retro style and the relaxed atmosphere . More on my blog: bit.ly/acepalmsprings
An old motel that has been renovated in a cool way. Think hipster desert retreat with a chill vibe, tons of intimate areas to catch some privacy along with a very approachable restaurant and bar area
The view from the pool! Get up early to claim a chair that will get some shade or a view . Also watch your tab, it's easy rack a bill when poolside all day!
I love this Ace Hotel ! Pool area has some solid vibes, chilled out crowd and good music . The rooms are quirky but cool. Staff are super friendly .
Each room comes with shaving supplies from Rudy’s Barbershop , and the larger ones boast vinyl record players, vintage furniture , and a just-say-yes-to-dogs policy. Read more
You can always count on the Ace for a badass rain shower and a comfy platform bed. Frozen Pina coladas in a warm pool as a bonus at this location
Nice hotel to come to swim even if you are not staying here, for a few rate!, you can pre-reserved to enter the pool area coz it gets crowded
Still a blast, tho fraying around the edges a bit. Weekends can get hectic, esp. now that the LA frathouse/Silvergoth crowd has discovered it. But the fireplaces and nighttime vibes make it all good.
After you leave you’ll dream about sitting by the pool at the Ace, Desert Facial cocktail in hand, while listening to great music in the warm sun. ????????
It's the best tan and salt water Hot tub in Palm Springs. ...by far. Enjoy a nice lively crowd as well ...kids and dogs welcomed. Didn't see any cats though.
Palm Springs epitomized. Drink cocktails by the pitcher . Get a room with a patio (worth it). Float in an emoji floaty.
Super chill place for a vacation. The hotel restaurant is actually good (they have a bar too.) Two pools and a spa . Not really close to much so you'll be driving/cabbing.
I walk into this room and Boston's More Than A Feeling is playing ... Perfect. Music playing in these adorable retro rooms. Resort heaven.
Trendy and relaxing. This is an excellent place to get away from it all, especially if you get a room with private patio .
Nice place with great decor but it can be a bit loud because of the outdoor areas . The pool is open until 2 which is great unless if you want a quite nites sleep.
Great for people watching . Stop by for a dip in the pool, a taco lunch or breakfast .
Really well designed rooms, excellent pool and restaurant . A little outside the main Palm Springs downtown.
Love the decor and service. Free bike rentals , lovely front patio , and the room itself ????
Room not ready yet? No worries. Right off the bat, Ace gives you pool access . Go chill under a cabana umbrella and grab a fruity drink .
It's all about the "adult sno-cone" poolside . Pineapple or mango with vodka or rum ! The Kings Highway restaurant is working to keep midcentury style alive. Chill in front of the outdoor fireplaces
If you miss summer camp , this is the place for you. Everything's set up as such. I didn't love the rooms, but amazing food, service and music .
Obsessed with the style and amenities . Our new favorite place to stay
Ask for a west facing room if there is one available, their shades are thin and east facing rooms get A LOT OF LIGHT as the sun comes up in the morning!
Cool rooms and party vibes in a designer hotel . The personal outdoor fireplaces are a nice touch.
If you are offended by str8 couples holding hands by the pool don't come, if you are offended by 2 men holding hands by the pool don't come. If you don't care who holds who's by the pool, please come!
Great hipster hotel with super comfy beds a nice bar and a great pool area .
Grab a loaner bike (included in the $20/day resort fee) for up to 2 hours and cruise town . Lots of sizes and styles available, including a tandem.
Best place to hang-out for 4sq people. Chill vibes, food and everything
Perfect retro rooms, and best swimming pool in town .
The commune pool provides an intimate space for children and offers a great grass area for picnics . There is always plenty of ice cold water to keep hydrated.
Don't take the easy route - there are toilets in the rooms and in public areas near the pools. let's keep ACE ace!
Too expensive for what it is. No shower out of the swimming pool . Bar crowded and with booked tables. Not the right nb of bathrobes ???? . No place to park ... No good vibes, sorry Ace ????
Very bad service. Impossible to park . Shower in bad shape. Tiny room with motel feel. All this for &800 a night! And you have to pay extra for basic water in your room!
The $20 day pass to the pool is a great way to escape the desert heat. However, the Women's locker room smelled like a bucket of funk.
Splurge a little and get the room with courtyard and fireplace in the winter.
Rent a room by the month. Cheaper and you can have veggie pot pie with brussel sprouts by the pool daily. Oh wow.
Sissy Bingo w/ the fabulous Linda is a must!!! Every Monday night from 7-9p! She sings show tunes !!! And you'll have a chance to win prizes!
You can listen to Neutral Milk Hotel in a hammock by the pool. The karaoke is incredibly drunk but you already knew that.
Rooms with outdoor fireplace and vinyl
Mid century touches, art from the date farmers, good food, great location. Floors in rooms r.slippery and no carpet so watch ur step!
Stay out of the hottub (even though I know you won't). Too many people go in there wearing their underwear after a long, hot day. Instead opt for an evening with a drink in front of a firepit .
The chilequilles are amazing but beware the portion is huuuge. Desert facial is refreshing, must have by the pool.
Get a room with an outdoor patio , it doubles your living space and it's great for hosting.
Ricotta hotcakes, irish oatmeal with torched bananas , hairbender coffee for breakfast . Amazing. Lamb with spicy harissa for dinner . Also lamb-tastic.
Coachella weekend chill vibe. People are friendly , less douche bags.
The "Desert Facial " is one of the best specialty cocktail here. It's like a spa in my mouth.
everyone loves a hipster hotel with *zero* open chairs at the pool and wifi that doesn't function, right? guess I'll read in my room?
If you moon the front desk you'll get 86'd, so don't do it. Also, ask to see the secret menu . They won't want to let you see it but just keep asking and they will.
A hip hangout in Palm Springs. Stare at the mountains while sitting at the pool.
The vibe!!! Very chilled and super cool
Soooooooooo delicious! Come here if you are around the area you won't regret! Good service, nice taste! Two words RICOTTA PANCAKES! - Nelly Tejeda
Great music, food is outstanding, and plenty of ways to relax! Been coming here for 3 years & has never failed us. If you're looking for a quieter place on weekends, go to short bus pool! - Timothy Colgan
Looks fine but what I really like is the patio for dining al fresco - IrmaZandl ZandlSlant
Comfortable, colorful spot for a weekday getaway. The staff is super friendly! - Erika Robbins
This is the best hotel my fiancé & I have stayed at in Palm Springs. Drew was super nice. The place is beautiful, chill & hip. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Palm Springs. - Joel Martinez
Amazing hotel, incredible service and beautiful atmosphere all around. They welcome you with a complimentary cocktail, allow dogs by the pool, and have the most beautiful grounds. I will be back! - Paige C
The oatmeal is delicious! Lots of options. Go with the cranberries & apricots option for a healthy start of your day. One of my fave places in Palm Springs. - Arjan Timmermans
