Lots of classics on the menu. I was surprised by the set-up - more of a casual eatery than a restaurant . And that's good! Will definitely come back.
When that tuft of truffle angel hair pasta lands on ur ????, ur senses r startled for a flash of a second, cos 1) it’s cold 2) it’s so good u start to regret u ordered it for sharing cos u want it all
Seared Chilean sea bass on a bed of mushroom-bacon ragout, with truffle yuzu butter sauce $38. Voted the favourite main dish on our table of 4. Fragrant, textured, smooth. Would order again
Iberico fan pork marinated in kebab spice $36. Topped with sumac onions , served with mint yogurt . Dense smoky flavours. Easy to share when kitchen cuts into bite-size pieces ????????
Duck leg confit on braised white beans $34. Can’t go wrong for fans of this crispy dish. Chef has served this in other ways before, but it is always 36 hours of curing
Chilean sea bass is out of this world as with most of the menu. This chef used to be at Ember restaurant and after some travel in Asia he is back in Singapore with a great new place.
Sebastian Ng was former Chef-Partner of Restaurant Ember (along Keong Saik Rd), a restaurant we enjoyed dining at. Good to savour his creations again. Source: website
Toasted house-made brioche w foie gras mousse $18. Expectedly smooth & savoury. An appropriate start to whet one’s appetite ????
Chocolate fondant w vanilla ice cream $15. For chocolate lovers, skip the ice cream , go straight for the molten centre ????
Pear tart $15. Lightly sweet. Wished flavour of Baileys ice cream was more distinctive, since it was chosen to be paired
Angel hair pasta topped with sakura ebi, konbu, chilli $28. Everything goes well together. Very delicious
Roasted cauliflower with mint yogurt $17. Served as a tossed salad , easy for sharing
Cold pasta w konbu & truffle oil $27. So aromatic, plate was cleaned in 1 minute! Greedy ????
Simple but modern design restaurant in CBD area got my favourite confit !
Friendly counter seating for those in a hurry
Very busy place, noisy but alive. Food comes when ready, so don't expect to eat together if you are not sharing. Portion size is very small, but the food tastes delicious.
Seabass was fantastic
Modern minimalist vibes with options for traditional brunch or something different - had the salmon fish roe rice with a iced oat latte and both were delish! - Cathy Lee
Thumbs up for the lamb meatballs, ravioli & the staff! Quiet & ideal for after work dinner or small celebrations. - Nat M
Came for the NZ meats, left loving the rest of the courses! Try the lamb and make room for the appetizers and desserts. - Wen Huang
Lots of healthy and yummy options, veg and non veg plates / pita. Monthly specials available, or make your own mix starting $16. Tried the curry and pistachio cake ???? Very nice space as well. - Tas (✿╹◡╹)
