Easily the best place for hiking in Fairfield. "No swimming ," so you should TOTALLY avoid jumping from the rocks into the swimming hole and walking barefoot in the stream (wink, wink) also DOGS
It is mud season. Time to breakout the wellies (rubber boots ).

Beautiful and large beach. Ive Never seen it too crowded and most importantly, never had any issues with finding a nice relaxing spot to sit and catch some rays. I go to this beach almost once a week! - Scott McCormack
