Gryphon Café

Although I love the coffee , today was the first time I had food. The sandwich (hummus & cukes on multigrain ) and soup (potato leek ) combo was tasty. Gryphon is now one of my fav "full service" cafés .

The atmosphere is quiet , complete with world music and the slow grumble of coffee nearing its perfect pour.

Gryphon is a small batch coffee roaster . They definitely have the best coffee on the Main Line .

I absolutely loved the Gryphon cafe! Everything is so yummy! Cappucinos , croissants , soups and sandwiches ! Both Wayne and Rosemont!

Try your cappuccino with decaf . It has less bite and brings out the other flavors.

Brewed coffee available via drip, French press , and Chemex . Only place I've found 'round here with those options.

Here is a soy latte , but their nitro cold brew is unbeatable!

Good atmosphere, bad cafe . Each visit they run out of something else— they ran out of creamer, coffee cup tops, and coffee sleeves in my 3 visits. Basic things a coffee shop needs to have in stock...

I don't find a true cafe au lait at many places any longer. Nice focus on the coffee here.

This place is absolutely adorable. Have their seasonal spicy Mexican, it's really good.

Best crowd for a Saturday 8am visit. Try to dine in if possible.

A short latte , or "cortado ", gets you closer to the coffee while still giving some creaminess

Amazing baristos!!

The entire counter is piled with dirty dishes - kinda like a rich kid's frat house. Nice funishings but you need the hand sanitizer when you leave
