The Cove

By far one of my favorite places to eat in San Antonio! Live music at night! All food is from Texas. Kids playground , dog park , inside and outside bar , and more!

The fish tacos alone are fantastic! But add the bohemian vibe, the all-local, all organic ingredients , and the blueberry soda , and dining at The Cove becomes a San Antonio must-do.

A gem. Wait staff awesome; food great. To get your beer (or wine ) on, go when John tends bar ; he'll treat you right. Adjacent car wash & basketball court make it a great place to spend the afternoon.

I had the Rubens sweet hash which was amazing! I’m usually not a fan of runny eggs but this was delish. I love bringing my dog here as well !

Go. If you're in San Antonio, go. This place truly is a community treasure. The atmosphere is awesome. The food is awesome. Three thumbs up.

Fish tacos are really good and spicy here. The shrimp tacos were not as tasty so I recommend the Lisa Special over Seafood Sampler . Love that they source their ingredients locally.

Texas burger is my favorite! Not too greasy, always delicious. I've been itching to try their spicy green beans but they're always sold out before I can get to them. Meow.

Get the Latin Lover, it's delicious! And all Texas drafts are amazing as well , chocolate stout and Santo are good stuff!

Very similar to something you'd see in South Austin - delish local food, over 20 taps, comfy vibe. Try the warm beet salad !

I've eaten the Chilango burger and the fish tacos ; both were very good. They have an outside bar with lots of craft brew options.

The Vegan Bacon Cheeseburger is delicious! They have gluten free buns too... I was in vegan heaven! Also, try the hibiscus mint tea (: Tuesday 5-11PM: one FREE kid's meal per adult entree purchase!

Shrimp Tacos with the Wasabi Ginger sauce and sweet potatoe fries . Their Hibiscus Tea is also delicious.

You can't go wrong with the Lisa Special. The sauce has a fantastic spice and the corn tortillas are perfect.

Any of the burgers are good. Fish tacos were ok, but there's so many good chicken sandwiches and burgers , don't cheat yourself out of those. Sodas are very good, too.

Everything is great here. The food, the music , the atmosphere, the staff and even the guest themselves. Alway meeting great people there! ENJOY!

This funky restaurant/car wash/coin laundry/music spot serves burgers with a conscience; only sustainable, organic and local ingredients are used.

Buffalo blue bison burger with sweet potato fries are excellent! Music and atmosphere are a huge bonus.

Short of time and they are slammed up front ordering? Sit at the bar and order food AND drinks there. Usually no waiting at lunch . Don't take my seat though!

I love the beat salad !!! it's always a tough choice between the fish tacos and a burger on gluten free bread . Both are awesome.

Lots of paleo/whole30 options! Gluten free bread if you like or lettuce wrap .

Great place,but the fish tacos are really overrated. Also, don't bother asking for your burger cooked any other way than med well . 3 different visits & I'm starting to think it's not just a mistake.

I Live Literally down the road from this place. Great looking joint but Parking on a peak night here is a pain in the ass and it is often congested.

Get the Peche Lambic beer ! As my friend exclaimed, its like drinking nectar from a peach tit.

The smoky chicken/spinach salad is great! I couldn't decide between chicken or tofu , so I got half n half :)

Awesome place. Cool outdoor seating that is very enjoyable on a breezy night. You MUST try the Texas burger that was rated #1 burger in San Antonio by Texas Monthly.

Tip to Whataburger (just moved next door). You can't compete. We'll watch you "fall like Rome," as ODB would say

Just a few minutes from Trinity University , the Cove has a wonderful selection of food and great live music ! The pop is also fantastic!

Wasn't on my radar.... ...but did not disappoint.  Seafood Sampler tacos for the wife, Blue Bison burger with fries for me, and bean and cheese quesadilla for the boy.
