If travelling to Euston King's Cross or Liverpool Street etc. it may be quicker to use the Bakerloo Line and change at Baker Street as there are more frequent trains on both legs of that journey.
It's a bit of a trek to the main station. Follow the lines on the floor and allow five minutes extra!
Go to the back of the train for remote chance of getting a seat.
