We happened to stumble over this place which doesn't look like much but is one of the best dining experiences in Geneva (confirmed by a local).
Friendly service , great size portions, affordable and best fries in geneva.
I once tried Cordons-Rouges...! and that was fabulous, gorgeous, unforgettable! not sure this is still on the menu, but if it is, then you have to try it.

Le lieu ne paye pas de mine mais les plats sont copieux avec un excellent rapport qualité prix.
grande faim dans une bonne brasserie populaire?? la classe. petite terrasse l'été, réserver. Ambiance très détendue... Fondue aussi.
Nourriture excellente, personnel très sympa et prix plus que correct
