I must say it’s a top notch Popiah . The skin is so soft that texture of food with ingredients was very good. You can customized your own Popiah according to your taste.
Carabinero prawns & konbu mee. The noodle were packed with umami flavours. Huge Mediterranean prawns though not much meat. A good take on a local fave called Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodles
Resto serves breakfast for hotel guests. Besides usual Western fare (cold cuts , pastries , salads , yogurt , etc), consider local offerings. Substantial one is Herbal Pork Bone Broth aka “bak kut teh ”
Spicy Tamarind Barramundi Tail. Generous portion . Wish the spicy sauce could be a tad more sour. Thumbs up for locally sourced fish ????????
From my childhood memory of homemade achar (local pickles ), theirs could be more acidic. Not spicy despite the redness of the serving
Prata with chicken curry . Wish curry gravy could be thicker. Generous portion of chicken cuts (3 pcs) to go with the crispy Indian roti
Love love love the crispy soft shell crabs . Pair it with a champagne , white wine or a light cocktail ????
Sambal mushrooms . Big portions since this is listed under “Sharing Sides”. Sambal belachan is spicy ????
U can order drinks from the reception bar which include cocktails , wines , champagnes & more
Young coconut water is always welcome, especially on a hot day or after a workout
High end Singaporean cuisine
Me feels the espresso served is weak. Can’t do anything abt it since it’s capsule-style coffee
Serving of Herbal Pork Bone Broth , locally called “bak kut teh ”. Substantial US prime pork ribs . Not herbal at all; more peppery instead
Kitchen has fresh chilli padi, if u want to add more spicy kick to your palate ????????????????
Drink champagne for no reason, a wise man once told me. Continuing the practice ????
Vegan options present. Slightly overhyped. Good vibe.
po piah is really good
