On the outside a 'roadhouse' type public house, typical of the suburban pub style of the 1930s, the Sultan is, on the inside, one of South London's hidden treasures.

This would have to be my most favourite local of all the places I've lived in London. Nice and relaxed, and an amazing range of ciders .
Dogs and puppers are very welcome and they even have dog bowls and water on tap from a keg in the garden .
The best Cider and Beer !
Great priced ales in a lovely local
Be sure to look out for the large black cat. He/she will treat you with contempt and ignore you completely, which is correct behaviour for cats.
Beer , atmosphere staff friendly
Great pint of gfb in there, 2.75 also, bargain!
The beer selection and friendly
Excellent beer
a comfortable pub with great beer
Great local for a few drinks and a laugh.
try the summer lightning, a cracking ale !
Fantastic been garden !
Has a brilliant beer festival at gthe beginning of October
Pub with cat. Win!
Pizzas and burgers are really good for the money, but the best part about this place is the atmosphere...local vibe but welcoming and no way clicky. Live music Friday and Saturday. Recommend. - Jimmi Nolan
Go there, find a quiet corner (if possible), get a drink (the real ale is best) and people-watch. - Trevor Pyne
Top notch beers (keg, cask and bottle) and a chilled atmosphere. Recommended. - Liam Branaghan
