Just a reminder: bikes are allowed in the cemetery during open hours--it's a great shortcut from Bloomfield to Lawrenceville--so long as they maintain a reasonable speed and respect mourners.
Beautiful and peaceful place to walk. One of Pittsburgh’s oldest cemeteries and modeled on the park style. Lots of Pittsburgh historical figures are buried here. No dogs allowed FYI.
It's a very pretty cemetery . Went for a walk when waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant . Peaceful . The mausoleums (small personal tombs) were interesting to see.
Beautiful place for a walk. On a quiet morning you're bound to see deer.
Check out the massive Peace monument in section 62. My photo doesn't do it justice.
