Blast Pig and Elk burgers are both good. A cup of chilli is a little small (go for the bowl), and sweet potatoes with my burger were unexplainably dusted with powdered sugar ???? why? All good otherwise

One of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh in a great neighborhood . I don't find the service bad, but if you're there when it's crowded , you'll be sitting uncomfortably close to a stranger..

The french fries do not taste fresh and are quite limp. The sundried flatbread was delicious, crispy and cooked perfectly with sea salt sprinkled on the crust. The brussel sprouts are incredible.

Thank you for letting me stand for 42 mins before I get my next drink. And keep walking without at least telling me "I'm sorry we're slammed and will get right to u" something for gods sake .

Get the smoke stack cocktail made with Wigle whiskey . I took a group of colleagues there for dinner and they talked about that cocktail for days afterward

Lots of whiskeys . The food is good also. You can sit down and eat or hang out at the huge bar . Smoke infused whiskeys are not my favorite.

Very cool atmosphere. Maple smoked jack honey is heaven on your taste buds. And the food is delicious. Can't go wrong.

A little slice of Southside right in the middle of Lawrenceville - complete with ID scanner and monosyllabic greeter at the door after 9 and eight giant flat screens playing sports .

Great food and drinks, but it can become quite crowded and loud . Best to go during off-peak hours.

Get yerself a smokestack . Wood chips of choice, infused w whiskey of choice, plus a flourish of citrus rind and maple

The Smokehouse cocktails are incredible!! And the craft beer draft options are wonderful.

Great beer list . And a lot of the cocktails involve setting things on fire (which is amazing).

Had a great meal. Service was great. Also a fantastic beer selection

Candied bacon on your amazing burger is a must and the mushroom flatbread is incredible!!!!

Despite the bread being a little bit too toasted, the chicken salad sandwich is unbelievable.

Favorite bar in Pittsburgh! Fantastic atmosphere and the drinks are strong.

If you're a bourbon fan, the Smoke Stack is a must. Blantons w/ apple wood isn't a terrible decision.

The Smoke Stack sandwich comes with fries (or a side salad ) and was delicious.

The Buffalo Mac and Cheese ! The Smoke Stack hand held! The burgers ! Oh my gosh. They are amazing.

Great food, but don't order a side salad with your sandwich unless you're idea of a salad is a pile of lettuce. Bummer.

Just keep ordering smokestacks . They make the whole bar smell amazing. And preferably with Bulleit and mesquite.

Good beer selection (including NA beers ). Food was very Pittsburghy..

Atmosphere is cool and beer selection is great...when they have it. First 3 beers I ordered they didn't have. Oh, and the service is REALLY slow. Been here twice for lunch and waited 30 min for food.

Great addition to Lawrenceville, best place to catch a game. House beers are mediocre though.

The smoke stack has changed my life. I am now a whiskey drinker.

It can be hard to get a refill here.

Food and drink are pretty good. Staff is very kind. Music is terrible (it's been the same weak music all three times I've been here). Proceed with caution.

I dare you to try to down the Melville, with cheddar sauce on the fries , in one sitting...

I definitely recommend the home-brewed Industry IPH. $4.50 for a whole lot of hops.

If you don't get a smoke stack with bacon wood chips , you're wasting your entire life.

Completely agree with the reviews about the slow service. I probably would have liked this place had I been able to get a drink (I gave up and left). They definitely need to staff more bartenders !!
