This brewpub is a perennial Daysie winner. Try the beer mixtures — a Half & Half mixes the Burly Irish Ale and the Irish Stout , the Snakebite blends Woodchuck cider and Dogbite . Mmmmm.
Delicious homebrews & yummy, inexpensive pub food . Outdoor seating is clutch. For brews, I recommend the Tulach Leis or Forbidden Fruit ; for food, the Nachos Colorado, Chicken Satay or Fish 'n Chips .
Forbidden fruit was the best beer I tried. Meatloaf was good forndinner but wasn't crazy about any of their other beers . Prices were very reasonable for pub food .
You gotta try the Vermont Maple Lager ! It's a complex light, enjoy every sip maple taste at the end. Where were u my whole life lager !
They are stingy about allowing you to try beers but their samples are cheap and decent pours. Enjoyed forbidden fruit and the devil was a reasonable sour
Awesome place to hang with some locals, my co-workers and i stop in often! Bartenders are extremely friendly ! Good food as well :)
Very cool bar space. Stopped in for a drink and a cheese plate . Bar tenders were so nice!
The beer , the burger , and the VPB wrap all have you covered. Oh, and about 40 other solid choices.
The food's good and the beer 's great! Try the stout mixed with the raspberry cider <3
Great place for day drinking on the patio . If you're a fan of dark beers , try the half and half . Great combo.
Fast service even when busy. Affordable. Good food and beer options .
Have never been a fan of their beers (tend to be on the watery side), but the food is good!
Great beers , burgers and cozy atmosphere on a cold winter day.
Buffalo chicken rolli polli with sweet potato fries makes a great lunch . Call ahead and grab it to go. Most orders take about 10 minutes.
Still one of the best places in B'ton to enjoy a local beer . Always wait for patio seating in summer or fall.
Very good beer . Try the Vermont smoked porter , forbidden fruit , or dogbite all good
Really good food but going in large groups can be a pain when it comes to splitting the checks...they like to make you figure it out yourselves
I got so excited about the beer I forgot to look at the food, and when I did eat it was fantastic!
CHEAP drinks , great service. Lots of locals. Try it!
Excellent selection of beers on tap , including a couple of delicious cask conditioned ales
The VPB wrap is a delicious vegetarian option ! Best use of veggie burger I've ever had.
This is a very popular place. They have an excellent selection of pub food and beers at a reasonable price. Consistently quality food.
Ask about what is on cask
I love the vegetarian lasagna and the beers
The forbidden fruit is pretty good. Has a nice fruit taste and is refreshing.
Three of us shared one beer sampler ... And we didn't finish any of it. Neither did the group next to us. Take that as you will. Also, most of the waitstaff looked homeless.
Good food and awesome beer ...terrific combination!!
Huge beer menu ! Yummy shepherds pie .
Not a huge selection for vegetarians . They do have some local meat though which looked good!
I'm not vegetarian , but their veggie rolli polli and VPB wrap are both great
Snakebite is the perfect combo of hops and sweet sweet chider. The black velvet is delicious too
Wanted to try the Rhubarb experimental, but apparently they sell out fast.
Good food, and excellent house micro brews on tap . The Burly Irish Ale and Beetlejuice are two of my favorites!
Try the Poutine - (via @Foodspotting)
Nice low-key place to come with a group.
Hard to go wrong with all the good beers , get a burger though, you won't be disappointed.
Beer , food, service
Beers are cheap but usually pretty flat. Get a 3oz sample to avoid disappointment. The burly irish is the most consistent.
Didn't dig the Irish burley. Waitress agreed to get me the black ipa . A little better. She's cool.
Pecan crusted trout , fries , and a Burly Irish ale . So good
They have smaller sizes of their beers .
Service and flights of beer on tap .
I wish they paid more attention to their quality of food. I have never been wowed and always feel a bit disappointed. Beers are solid, but this town has much better food, not worth the cheaper prices
Try the Tulach Leis !
Spinach salad and chili - yum!
Great place to eat on the patio in the summer.
We waited over 40 min for a table even though we were the only ones waiting. Finally a waitress asked if we we're waiting and seated us. No hostess in sight. Waited quite a long time 4 sub par food
Grandslam baseball beer is a delicious summery light beer . Good stuff
What a shame the place that started craft.brewery in Vermont has such lackluster beers ... The food is good, but go elsewhere for beer .
Great service but the beers were unimpressive.
Great atmosphere and manageable crowds. Nice selection of beers as well as pool and foosball tables! - John
Great place for craft beer tasting! A flight of four tasting-sized beers is only $5. Try the stout! - Danielle C.
Great new building. They have large picnic-like tables for large groups and smaller tall tops too. Tasty ciders! - Erin Murphy
Great for people watching, activities, food and shopping. Probably one of the best Main Street type areas I've seen in my lifetime - Markus Tarjamo
