Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry Rice

Sooooooooooo good. Hands down the best food I had in Singapore. My go to is porkchop , pork roll , egg , and cabbage 👏

While I won't go as far as calling it the best curry rice in town , it's definitely up there in term of taste price quotient. Cabbage and braised pork belly are must try toppings

It doesn't look pretty or appetising but it tastes amazing. Go for the pork belly , cabbage , fish cage and the pork chop and just load it up with the curry gravy .

Must put lot of curry gravy onto the rice ... The more the merrier.... It jus taste so good !! Yummy yummy :D and actually the curry not as hot as u think. It smell nice :D

The pork chop was good albeit not fresh. The pork belly was thick cut & meaty. The patty was tasty but a bit mushy. The bean sprouts were great - crunchy & with lots of other vegetables inside.

This place was popular among locals especially for the pork belly curry . We found it rather lackluster and the meat extremely fatty (even for pork belly ).

Wu xiang and kou rou are my favourite here. You just can't eat slowly because the mix sauces makes the white rice way too delicious!

Great place to bring your overseas friend to have authentic local food.

Very tasty. I was particularly surprised to note that rice and curry went so smoothly together.

The curry was really rich & flavorful without being spicy - the best part of dish. The barley drink was excellent - super thick & rich.

The food here damn messy but syiok like pasembur rojak . Who would have thought deep fried pork rice slobbered with curry and cut with grandmamas scissors would be #velinais.

Lot of curry added in the rice makes dish great. Try the black pork belly . Its tender and delicious. The rice always seems not enough for me. Shortage carpark lots is an issue. Parallel parking too.

There’s always a queue, any time of the day. But queue clears quickly 👍🏼

The only grubby coffee shop that I'm happy to step into and Q for food. Yummeh!

Try their black soya sauce pork ,fishcake with their curry sauce . Personally like it without too much over flowing curry sauce , just right portion makes the rice nice & not too satiety.:)

Juicy and delicious plate of rice . The daily boiled soups from the drinks counter is a good value too!

Great curry rice , variety of toppings to choose from. Very cheap also.

As a Malaysian, this is below avg. It's worst after reading the reviews and having high expectations. Ipoh's Nasi Ganja is 100x better. Cheap though: pork belly , chic chop, cabbage at $4.10.

Totally understand the hype about this place. Everything is good here. Lol

Passed by the shop numerous time. Finally got to try it. I think the food is overrated. The curry chicken taste good, but the rest of the food cannot make it. They just doesn't gel with the curry .

Ask for less 卤汁 and more curry gravy or else you fall for it

Their Curry rice is Unique & Nice! The rice will definitely full of curry sauce like free flow & only their curry without adding potatoes . Yummy!

The food was tasty and cheap . The dude who cut up the chicken was smiling all the way.

Curry Png within exhaust-reach of traffic. As authentic an experience as you can get with the sounds of that snapping scissors in the background.

The curry makes everything taste better... If you are tight on budget, it will be advisable to be selective.

Love their sam-zam-bak (stewed pork belly ) and the chicken chop . The pork chop is a bit tough and the ngoh hiang is nothing awesomes.

must indicate if you want a smaller portion, if not even if u order a lot of different dishes, they will still give and charge you for the huge portion ~
