Much larger than their International lounge but finding a seat during peak hours can be frustrating. Apart from that, its still a great lounge to visit when you need do some last min work.
Very spacious and well equipped with a large bar and ala carte buffet . Lots of power points if u need to charge a device.
It doesn't have a daily menu like the one at Business lounge , but I find the space here more bright and open, and feels more comfortable . Not bad if there isn't a rush.
Look for the liquorice allsorts on the northend of the lounge by the espresso machine. Yum
I just compared the barista's coffee to the automatic machine. Sorry dude, but the machine won hands down. And there are iced vovos over there too!!
Newer self-service coffee machines are great, plus they now stock decent hot chocolate powder so you really can make a decent drink before the Barista gets going.
They usually have gluten free bread out. Ask if it's not and they can bring it.
Bring a real coffee cup from the auto coffee machine and give it to the barista if you don't want to drink out of paper cups! Why Qantas???
Coffee is better during pandemics (they closed the coffee self-serve stations)
Great coffee , Qantas has obviously put some effort into barista training ????????
Preorder your coffee with their new partnership with the skipp app. Tip: download it while in the taxi Enroute to the airport .
Grab a glass of one of the great wines on offer and sit back and relax pre flight!
Domestic qantas club tall tables in the left corner are fantastic for quiet , laptop time
Manfred is a legend. Sooo many times he's helped me through changing timetables with his unflappable style
Qantas valet parking is the go! For an extra couple of bucks it saves you a least 15mins!
This is terrible, standing room only at Sydney. At the windows, sitting on the window sill. The Club has got uncontrollable@ peak hours. Come on Qantas fix this????
They've introduced a nespresso section. Welcome consistent coffee when you're looking for an early morning shot.
There is a hidden barista BEHIND the service desk. At 5:30 am :)
Great complimentary breakfast !
It’s not the most luxurious lounge , but a ham and cheese toastie and a red wine never go astray
This rich fruit cake seems OK. Not sure if I need a second slither to decide how delicious it really is.
For added crunch why not simply add flaked Almonds to your Bircher muesli ? Yummm
Sky news turned off on the big tv and they are showing endless repeats from the NZ world cup - I guess the news headlines don't look too flash for red kangaroo with the strikes
The toilets at the BACK section is much nicer
Gluten free muesli with fig yoghurt ! Yummy
No need to put extra salt in the corn chowder . It's perfect without it!
The booze is good, but the non brekky food is woeful. Stir fried tofu ? Deplorable!
Sky news turned off on the big tv and they are showing endless repeats from the NZ world cup - I guess the news headlines don't look too flash for red kangaroo
There is free wireless in both the Qantas Club and the Business lounge . It's Telstra network - connect to wi-fi, open a webpage on your browser & the login page appears, click the Connect logo
Had gluten free options for breakfast !
Shower kits including towels and toiletries are available from the main lounge service counter. Demand for showers can be high at peak times, so there may be a small wait.
Beetroot dip is pretty yummy!! Try it with the lavosh crisp breads
It's always ridiculously overcrowded
Go behind the service counter for coffee made by barrista, a lot better than the coffee machine
Gold members can bring in immediate family for free.
White, yeaah
Frustrated trying to use your frequent flyer points? There is a guy who can help you with that...
Wine , wifi and liquorice all sorts.
Toasters are rubbish. One run through barely warms the bread ; two incinerates it!
Try the Coopers Pale Ale-Best beer in the world. Available in the lounge .
Grab the milk bottles & licorice allsorts from coffee stands - before the kids do!
The Q club Check in process has been seriously downgraded with the new self service process!
Horrified by the diamontee encrusted ugg boots I just witnessed here!! Oh and tights are not pants!!
Always ask for a glass...far more classy
Nothing beats the Bircher Muesli for breakfast .
Only 16,000 Qantas points for a business class hop. Why pay $350 a tkt.
Come join the pigs at the trough
Try the Coldstream Hills Pinot Noir - yum!
Free booze
Try the Toast - Breakfast !
