I have a love-hate affair with IKEA .... the prices for the quality are very good. Use the route shortcuts to get out of the sales maze!
Fantastic Service & stand by their warranty promise. Today we took back some faulty kitchen doors purchased 6 years ago. True to their word fully covered as promised. Fantastic Service IKEA & staff .
If you order a cab don't tell the operator if you have any furniture - they won't let you book . But they will always carry it ;) Maxi-cabs can't be booked to the loading bay - only the centre entrance
If you're struggling with a customer complaint and Ikea's staff are giving you grief, head to their customer suggestion computer - ask them if you don't know - and make a complaint via the computer.
Great place for affordable furniture or even just to redecorate your house.
1. There's never enough time at Ikea. 2. Watching people try and shove all their purchases in their car when anyone can see it clearly isn't going to fit... is always pretty amusing.
I confess myself an IKEA buff. Love everything from the furniture to the lingonberry soft drink
Always hard to move on from every rack and things i see! Love them all 😻
Can just come here and get some innovation about interior designs for your house.
If you join ikea family you get a discount on the healthier food on their menu.
More cramped than the Springvale one, and less/worse parking . Seems to be out of stock more often these days too.
Still the number one meatball dish in Melbourne
Make sure you bring the student coupon if you want free delivery ! Kings delivery will not accept anything less.
They have a $3.5 breakfast and its pretty good 🍳
$3 chicken schnitzel or meatball meals after 3pm every Tuesday! Win!
Don't forget to get your parking validated for 4 free hours
It's the only place where you can kick a kid over and the parents apologise to you.
Avoid the wkend crowd, babies and kids everywhere and they all conspire to test the building acoustics .
Be prepared, show no fear and get in and out as quickly as possible
Come here on Tuesday nights for the cheap dinners .
Avoid Sunday breakfasts . Massive queue.
Love watching couples argue over furniture . Very entertaining.
The five blocks of chocolate for $5 is much nicer than Cadbury's as well as cheaper.
Remember they're open till 9pm most nights. Much better coming after work than on the weekend.
B4 getting in, make a family card which is massive discount and free hot drink..
Use the iOS app to create a shopping list before you go.
Thursday evening after 7 is the best time to go
QUICk!! For feb and March only Ikea is donating €1 to UNHCR for every LED bulb sold!!
Go during the week ! weekends this place turns into a daycare center.
Learn the shortcuts so you can cut right past the crowds to the section you want.
Try the horse-dog & sauce!
Food in the afternoon is much fresher on weekends.
Also join IKEA Family so that you get the "family" (discount ) price on some items.
Unfortunately NO longer free coffee for IKEA family members
Not enough staff at loading bay ! Guy that's supposed to watch the trolleys so you can get your car is too busy loading others cats and collecting empty trollers... Leaving trolled unattended.
Watch the couples argue about differences in furniture taste!
Great customer service everybody that shops here are simply just retarded. it's not that hard to read the signs.
Feels like every ikea anywhere in the world
If you see something you like - get it! Chances are it will be out of stock or discontinued next time you go back.
Don't trust the website, chances are good that there will be stock in-store.
Check online first whether they have your item in stock, saves you hauling yourself there and coming out empty handed.
Get to IKEA early for the cheap breakfast . Vegetarian options are available. Don't forget to clear your plates.
Visit on a weekday after 6pm - grab a bite to eat and then browse at your leisure without the mad crowds
