The service here is quite friendly ,. I have come a very long way, here, and I had the white fish sandwich , and I must say it is very good and worth the trip even though my friend lives over here.
Umm... Black Forest Pastrami ! Cabbage rolls ! The only thing missing at this location is the fountain drinks like their other location has. And chicken fried steak . Otherwise it's a gem!
Came here to have a tasty deli sandwich , but it was too early. Very pleasantly surprised that they would have excellent guacamole wrapped into a fresh breakfast burrito . Best I've had.
Opened in 1967. Classic late ’60s Jewish deli with forest green & gold booths , etched glass, brick walls.
Killer combination Cabbage soup (it's fantastic) & 1/2 pastrami sandwich . Ask 4 bread brought to the table; enough delicious meat in the Brent's 1/2 to make two regular 1/2 sandwiches .
Corned beef hash is a must. Such flavorful pastrami . Kathy was a dear. It may have taken forty years to get out of the desert , but only 10 minutes to inhale breakfast . Worth the trip.
At Brent's, an LA sandwich institution, the smoked pile of peppered-at-the-edges pastrami seem to multiply endlessly with every bite. There is something more at work than just your average reuben .
Skirt steak tacos and fried zucchini are to die for!! Matzo ball soup is great and the tongue sandwich for oldies. Place is a bit pricey but definately worth it. Great service.
The Heartstopper is AMAZING. Portions are very generous. Asked if we'd like bread at the beginning; we didn't realize it was complimentary . Half a sandwich later we were all glad for our mistake!
The black pastrami reuben was really great, so much flavor. Get it with a side of curly fries .
Corned beef reuben is great. They have a cucumber salad that is a great alternative to coleslaw . I don't care for the potato salad . Skinny and curly fries are best. Free rye bread , just ask for it!
Great food. It's always busy but it's worth it. I've been coming here since I was a little boy with my parents and grandparents.
The matzo ball soup is very filling. From the ball of matzo, and the noodles it's carbtastic.
Love the black pastrami ruben sandwich . The service is always amazing!!
Best deli anywhere in the world. Even their pastrami is better than anything in NYC. Zagat rates it a 26+ more than 10 yrs in a row. Simply a deli must do in the Valley and L.A,
The latkes here are huge. One is the size of a burger patty. It's served with sour cream and cherry apple sauce .
Black pastrami Reuben . Best thing on the menu.
Looks like a hole in the wall , but much nicer inside. Excellent soup and sandwiches .
Great food. Great service. You pay for w h at you get. Avg $20- $25 per person.
The Monte Cristo sandwich was delicious. This was my first time at the restaurant and the place was crazy, busy, bit I suspect this is the norm. From looking around, no one seemed to mind. :-)
Getting your sandwich extra lean costs a little extra, but it is an option!
Great food and service. A bit pricey but worth.
Maybe the best pastrami in SoCal. At least right up there with Langers.
Everything, never had a bad meal here. Always great!
LA's #1 deli according to Los Angeles magazine. Best pastrami on the West Coast, Ron's special brunch can't be beat. Read more
The secret kishka plate is fantastic, and a lot of food
Fresh pickles , matzo ball soup , and a black&white cookie -- it doesn't get any better!
winter days cold and wet try a cup of beef barley soup mm good
When you ask for square for DELI 's in Los Angeles it doesn't mention Brents
Best deli in California. Brent's special club is my favorite. The pastrami and corned beef here is off the chain!
Pastrami sandwich was awesome!
Spinach salad ???? delicious ????
When a place is comparable to a New York deli , you know it's legit.
The #13 is a must!
Very good place)) check it out)
Reuben . You can get half if you can't handle it.
Chocolate egg creams rule!
Excellent pastrami sandwich !
Josie Le Balch, chef of Josie Restaurant , eats here on her nights off. She loves the Hot pastrami & swiss sandwich . Read more

Zagat #1 Deli in Los Angeles for a decade. Accept no substitutes!
Everything!!
Sandwiches are all good!
Order ahead of time during lunch hours. They deliver too.
Black pastrami reuben . Your tastebuds will love you for it.
Awesome Matzo ball soup ! The ball they give you is the size of a softball!
Love their pickles !!! Best food in San Fernando Valley
Everything is fabulous at Brents. Some of my favorite matzoh ball soup , corn beef Ruben , chopped liver , sweet-and-sour cabbage soup , and mushroom barley soup ,
Sandwiches are great. Breakfast is so so.
Tip the busboys . They work hard every day!
Everything but my personal favorites are San Carlo pizza or a Panzerote and their Lambrusco. Always a DELICIOUS combination ???????????? - Wendy Dixon
The lox special for breakfast is good with lox, bagel and two eggs. - Justin Ordoveza
The cabbage soup is to die for. I love the sweet taste with a pastrami sandwich. - Eddie Salcido
Dingiest Target in the valley. No Starbucks here. Store is disorganised, employees are apathetic and depressed, and the lines are long. The east Northridge Target is amazing. - Ben J. DITZEL
One of the better malls. It's been around for quite some time, but it's very well maintained. Tons of shops and restaurants just outside the mall, too. Too bad it closes at 9pm (7pm on Sunday)! - Chrystal Walsh
Spinach salad with poppyseed dressing & Rotisserie chicken is a great meal for a good price! - Belachi
