Great museum for mechanic lovers: cars, bikes , bicycles, trains , ships and a lot other stuff. Consider that it will take at least 4 hours.
Make sure you enjoy some sunshine in their cafe on the boat! Prices are even lower than on the streets! Best simit we tried and just 1,5TL, tea for 1TL and there are different types of warmed boreks !
You have to spend the whole day here to be able to enjoy every bit of this marvelous and overwhelming exhibition.Absolutely recommended! You can enjoy anything from doll houses to real B-24 bombardier!
Absolutely the best attraction we visited during 8 days in Istanbul! Excellent collection of transport vehicles of all types! And you can get inside the boats, trains , planes , cars and buses ! Must go!
Best museum ! Its symbolic fare of 18 TL is very unfair. They have benches everywhere. You get a map! There are several toilets (best among all attractions of city ) and cafes with reasonable prices!
Such a nice spot to enjoy wonders of engineering ???????? Also found out an exhibition of old dolls' houses. Did you know that the first dolls' houses appeared in Bavaria in the 16th century? ????
Allow a full day or at least half-day! Better go on weekend as you can travel on the train , boat and submarine ! They space is huge! And there's a building across the street. It's an easy bus ride
For family’s, kids, teenagers!Lots of cars, planes , trains etc There is cafe inside. Also there are ramps everywhere so it’s easy to go there with toddlers in stroller. Recommend!????????????
One of best museums in Istanbul. Major exhibitions include auto, marine and rail vehicles. Has a quality restaurant by the sea ran by Divan. Dont miss ship cruise and submarine
Happy place of the vintage lovers! The museum is dedicated to the history of transport and communications. It's is located by Golden Horn. Have lunch or tea at the Halat Restaurant or Cafe Du Levant.
Love it. If you want to enter the submarine go there early. The submarine closes before the museum . The museum closes at 8pm in holidays
You can get a live demonstration of how all electronic appliances work through their transparent models! Very insightful both for adults and kids! There are also first models of computers!
Must seen "How does it works" exhibition . Start engine , switch on washing machine and look inside.
The museum consists of many separate sections. Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey’s private collection, special tools in the history of science, wagons and others. Read more

One of the best palaces to spend some quality time with my son!
The best museum I have ever seen in my life
Like my cousin said: "Mr Koç has given the people what their government failed to do." Put this on your to-do list for Istanbul. Warning: Stay away from their ridiculously overpriced restaurant !
One of the coolest places to see in Istanbul.

As the name of the museum suggests, the descriptions of each exhibit focuses on contextualising the invention in history, and provides little technical information on how each invention works. - J
Both kids and adults will love this toy museum. Filled with more than 4,000 old and new displays, this place is where you'll learn about the significance and language of different types of toys. - DHR.com
A beautiful venue atmosphere, very family runs the grandson of a former restaurant grandfather, Everything was fabulous, enjoy. - Lillian Sword
