Old school Jewish-Hungarian restaurant with great (and fast!) service and excellent food. It’s quite heavy duty but that’s how it’s supposed to be. Owner sitting at the entrance to great you.

I wish this restaurant is located in front of my house. Great Hungarian meals, live music , service, cozy atmosphere and housemade beer .. A must!!!????????????

Has the romantic atmosphere of early 20th century Budapest with dilapidated surroundings and traditional, 5-star dishes. Has Jewish meals, as well as Gypsy-style pork roast . Try the famous cholent.

Gulash soup , Confit beef cheek Hungarian style and Beef Schnitzel chef 's art dishes here for us. and sourdough bread with butter ???? so smooth and tender.

Fantastic food and culinary experience! I had some fettuccine home made with Prawns and Mushrooms . The sweet are also great and service superb! Best in Budapest!

Fantastic food! Very expensive ! This is a special place. It is worth visiting for special occasions or business dinners . Lunch is also a good option.

One of the best restaurants in town and certainly the most authentic one. Lamb knuckle and venison steak are to die for. Try Flodni for dessert

The whole menu is great. Get the bone marrow for appetizer though. Their IPA is fantastic as well , light on the hops with a tender sweetness.

Delicious traditional Hungarian food ! The fish stew was great, as was the veal paprikash.

The food is amazing, service is really good. It takes you to a very special atmosphere, you'll want to come back for sure!

Best restaurant in town ! Anything from the menu is great, and KNW 777 is highly recommended if you’d drink a nice red wine .

Amazing food, everything was really delicious. But the service... the only time in Budapest we had such a boorish service. It was not rude, we just felt as we were not welcomed guests.
