Very crowded especially at lunch and dinner time. Mostly restaurants line both sides of the market , some produce stands as well . All the hosts ask you to come in as you walk by. A little annoying.
Wish I had found it on our first, not last day in Vienna :-) great selection of fruit , cheese , delicatessen ... You can find food from almost all countries in the world. Mmmm... :-)
Great spot to find exotic and exclusive food items such as truffles or oysters . Many Asia stores are nearby as well , I can really recommend lilly Markt for Asian groceries . Nice Restaurants as well !
Great location to meet people, shop for fresh groceries and grab a snack . Good to browse foods to get new ideas for cooking. Also not to forget the shops along the road , e.g. Asia markets .
This outdoor market is lined with restaurants , cafés , and wine bars and is popular with locals You’ll be able to choose from a selection of kebab vendors, snack shops, and vegetarian restaurants .

Went on a Fri afternoon and it was pretty quiet . Half were restaurants (tried NEMI, pretty good) and the other half was dominated by middle eastern stalls, get huge variety of cheap spices here!
You could spend a whole day here. Brings lots of cash as most places don't accept cards . Don't buy the first thing you see — different kiosks have different prices.
Very crowded but worth a visit. Some really good artisan wares from time - to-time at the Saturday flea markets . Food centre of Vienna right now. Watch out for pick pockets and purse strap slashers!
Naschen means "to snack ". Biggest market in Vienna, go here to snack , buy fresh veg & fruit , and have a nice time in the sun. Relatively touristic .
Naschmarkt bears the imprint of a unique Viennese style. There is always the widest selection of fresh products http://gidtravel.com/country/austria/Renok_Nasmarkt_dp6379.html
Here you will find all sorts of good ingredients and spices! There are also pop up restaurants where you can grab a bite or two ????????
Nice to walk through; many of the middle eastern style foods are sold by several booths . Be wary of items sold in grams !! Requested hummus sold for €1.60/100g he kept trying to add to and I said no.
Among a finest restaurant and a good looking wine shope u can find, flowers , meat, fish , spices, fruit , vegetable and others. Everything looked pretty fresh but the mess! And smell!!
Swing by here for fried fruit & nuts , dips , Turkish breads , antipasto , and baklavas . Then jump on the U4 to Schönbrunn Garten for a picnic ????

Check it out on a Saturday morning, the market is crazy!
Come for the flea market on weekends. The daily market is now pretty much a collection of spice shops and restaurants , which were all pretty ordinary.
My favourite place in Vienna. Must visit place! It is not too touristy .. it is favourite place of locals.
Fresh produce , spices, international cuisine galore! And Saturdays makes it even more interesting with the antiques , junk & craft markets .
Anything necessary for a summer dinner is on offer, from almost anywhere in the world. Unfortunately bio is not standard at every grocery store there - although premium pricing suggest that.
A place where foodies can find their preferred niche.Stay clear from the eye-appealing Arabic snacks ...not worth it.A lot of potential but somewhat lagging behind similar places in Madrid,Oslo, etc.

Traditionals from many nationalities as well as Austrian, you can also taste some before buying them
Be very careful leaving your phone/wallet on the table. People will come up with paper w/ writing speaking gibberish just to distract u while they steal your belongings. It's happening often lately
