Unlike any art village you've ever seen! All these buildings seem to have maintained a lot of their original architecture .
There are old stuff which bring to you childhood memory. You can eat breakfast here. It's a good place if you have no place to go TP.
聯合後勤司令部所属の第四十四兵工廠(手榴弾やサブマシンガンといった武器の製造工場 )の工員が暮らした聯勤眷村 で、最盛期は468戸が存在。兵工廠の南に位置したことからこの名前があり、兵工廠の西には同様に四四西村が、東には四四東村が存在した。日本統治時代の倉庫 を改修して設立されたこともあり、当初は水道もトイレもない状況だったとか。軍人村 と言われるが、大陸から来た非軍人やその家族も多く暮らしていた。
位處市區旁的老眷村 拆剩下被保留下來的部份，與身後的台北101形成強烈對比。
每個月的第二、第四個星期六下午有二手市集，是買東西跟看正妹的好地方！
