Interesting building. Good curatorial work at 12 Istanbul biennale
Emre Arolat dokunuşuyla yenilenen ve çok sevdiğim bina. Şu anda 10 Kasım’a kadar 16. İstanbul Bienali’nin bir ayağına ev sahipliği yapıyor. Sadece İstanbul Modern’in inşaatını görmek hoş olmamış.
18 ay sonra açılacak müze ile ilgili sabırsızlanmakla birlikte eserlerin ışıklandırmasının bu geçici sergideki gibi kötü olmamasını ve eserlerin künyelerinde tarih yazmasını önemle rica ediyorum..
Panellere, seminerlere, sergilere hizmet vermek üzere yapılan bir bina. Buradaki sunumları, sergileri takip etmek gerekiyor. Bizden söylemesi.
2010da Aga Khan Ödülü, 2015’te Mies van der Rohe Avrupa Birliği Çağdaş Mimarlık Ödülü dahil olmak üzere pek çok prestijli ödüllerin sahibi Emre Arolat Architects mimarlık ofisi tarafından tasarlandı.

Definitely my favourite art gallery in Istanbul. The architecture and the art is wonderful. It is in a tough neighbourhood & there’s limited car parking space. Free shuttle is available from Tepebaşı - Aylin Alpustun
