Desi Spice

They look a bit dingy but there's a huge spread: 11 veg + 11 non-veg curries , plus 1 veg + 1 non-veg briyani ; there were rarer dishes too. The spread is probably big because it's also used for takeout

Quite a few desserts : fruit , 2 mini cakes , ice cream & Indian deserts , Both mini cakes dry. Indian desserts & fruit decent. 6 ice cream flavours but 3 were super icy & hard & 2 were super soft.

Butter chicken used tandoori chicken , giving extra flavour & had a very rich sauce (shared with the paneer makhani ). It was especially good.

The buffet is only from Friday to Sunday. The food is mostly of decent quality. Best of all, they're really cheap : Saturday dinner was $17.99 plus tax.

The fried rice was tasteless but the veg Hakka noodles were pretty good. The Butter Naan was decent as naan but a bit dry for butter naan .
