While the famous Waldorf salad is beautiful, it’s too tangy and unbalanced. Preferred the cauliflower side. Def an old media hangout: Strahan, Rather & Carl Bernstein all in the corner
While I didn't like Peninsula bar , I loved this bar/restaurant. Great chef and diverse menu - small plates through nice entrees. Good mixed crowd. Try the duck confit tacos !!
beautiful dining room and great spot for a long long lunch in midtown - a place to be seen and not seen.
A bit stuffy but great food. Fried polenta with goat cheese and a golden beet was out of this world. Nice big room in the back for private events
Super expensive but great for a power lunch . Staff is very nice and makes you feel like a regular...even if your not.
See and be seen at this stellar restaurant . Try to grab a table in the Garden Room to dine surrounded by art from Jasper Johns, David Hockney and Frank Stella.
pricey ... but this place is such a time capsule from the 80s-90s that it’s almost worth it. food is actually pretty good.
A beautiful place with a very personable owner who visits every table. Creative diverse menu . Eggplant ravioli is especially delightful.
Do ask the price of the catch of the day, before ordering. Today's Dover sole was $75, considerably above most of the entrées.
The Salmon Tartare & Rosé Champagne was delicious. Very friendly atmosphere
Classic old school media hang out spot. The Eton mess was a great dessert .
The new menu is amazing! Duck confit sliders , Korean tacos , it's all delicious...

You don't get more power than this. Breakfast is a must - blueberry pancakes
Favorite lunch spot . Bibb Lettuce-Endive Salad-- dressing on the side #FFactorApproved
Great salmon eggs benedict
This place is incredible. Are you kidding??? Do it!!!
very cool spot to see celebrities
Make sure you notice the (now) vintage 80s artwork. This place is frozen in a very different time.
Have a breakfast meeting here!
Good for breakfast but a little pricy for what you get.
Stay away! Place was empty on Sat night. Waitress doubled as bartender - drinks horrible. Food all came put ice cold and they screwed up my order. Menu far too limited for restaurant of this price.
Very nice staff .
Never again! Overpriced, ice cold food, no bartender . The waitress was the bartender ! They charge for a roll, $3.Never again. Pretty place, zero personality. Hot drink came out cold, food was cold!
Fish entrees were great. Desserts were terrible.
Try a rapid infused @PurityVodka martini !
it's always friggn' freezing in there but the braised mushroom app is ace!
The best blueberry pancakes in the world!
Overrated. They cannot seem to differentiate between "small" and "large" plates. And they charge for bread . #cranky
Lobster gnocchi and butterscotch flan were divine! Also best french fries ever! - Fiona Q
eating at the bar a la carte is my favorite way to dine here. vegetarians will love the seasonal lasagna. - Kinjil Mathur
Wonderful museum and art-collection, nicely presented! We had a little drink afterwards in their very cosy cafetaria. We were served super-friendly!!! - Linda De Wolf
Love going for aliey dance performances 💕😊seating is good wherever you sit - lisa
