While the famous Waldorf salad is beautiful, it’s too tangy and unbalanced. Preferred the cauliflower side. Def an old media hangout: Strahan, Rather & Carl Bernstein all in the corner

While I didn't like Peninsula bar , I loved this bar/restaurant. Great chef and diverse menu - small plates through nice entrees. Good mixed crowd. Try the duck confit tacos !!

beautiful dining room and great spot for a long long lunch in midtown - a place to be seen and not seen.

A bit stuffy but great food. Fried polenta with goat cheese and a golden beet was out of this world. Nice big room in the back for private events

Super expensive but great for a power lunch . Staff is very nice and makes you feel like a regular...even if your not.

See and be seen at this stellar restaurant . Try to grab a table in the Garden Room to dine surrounded by art from Jasper Johns, David Hockney and Frank Stella.

pricey ... but this place is such a time capsule from the 80s-90s that it’s almost worth it. food is actually pretty good.

A beautiful place with a very personable owner who visits every table. Creative diverse menu . Eggplant ravioli is especially delightful.

Do ask the price of the catch of the day, before ordering. Today's Dover sole was $75, considerably above most of the entrées.

Good for breakfast but a little pricy for what you get.

Stay away! Place was empty on Sat night. Waitress doubled as bartender - drinks horrible. Food all came put ice cold and they screwed up my order. Menu far too limited for restaurant of this price.

Never again! Overpriced, ice cold food, no bartender . The waitress was the bartender ! They charge for a roll, $3.Never again. Pretty place, zero personality. Hot drink came out cold, food was cold!

Fish entrees were great. Desserts were terrible.
