It's a stunning setting. Very well maintained. Very quiet . The grounds are vast, but safe. It's used frequently by local runners.
This historic cemetery , a National Historic Site of Canada, is the resting place of prominent individuals like politicians, businessmen, and musicians . Go to the Visitation Centre to arrange a trip.
Dogs are now allowed in the cemetery BUT it is a strictly ONleash zone. Please don't let your pet pee on someone's gravestone or chase the wildlife . #respect

If you walk around the periphery of the entire cemetary you can log in a good 6 km without even noticing. Gorgeous place. I've seen deer and foxes here!
