Mount Pleasant Cemetery

Gorgeous place to walk and have some time off. Extremely quiet and it makes you forget you are in the middle of the city

It's a stunning setting. Very well maintained. Very quiet . The grounds are vast, but safe. It's used frequently by local runners.

This historic cemetery , a National Historic Site of Canada, is the resting place of prominent individuals like politicians, businessmen, and musicians . Go to the Visitation Centre to arrange a trip.

Dogs are now allowed in the cemetery BUT it is a strictly ONleash zone. Please don't let your pet pee on someone's gravestone or chase the wildlife . #respect

A hidden gem for running outdoors in Toronto. Also connects to the Kay Gardner Beltline Trail .

If you walk around the periphery of the entire cemetary you can log in a good 6 km without even noticing. Gorgeous place. I've seen deer and foxes here!

Great place if you want to visit a lost one. Very peaceful ; could spend hours there.

Walkers: unless you are being followed by a marching band there is no need to swing your arms like a drum majorette.

A great place to walk or bike . No rollerblades or dogs, and it IS an active cemetery , so be respectful
