Start a conversation with a total stranger. I always meet an interesting character. Definitely makes the coffee taste better.
Watch out for Dirty Freddie. He is always there drinking tea and hitting on all the young girls. You can spot him with the toothpick. Be warned, he is a real smooth talker.

This one sucks, took 5 minutes to get the cashier to stop flirting with the girls in front of me and take my order. Then the barista wouldn't stop talking to his friends and make the orders.
