The steaks and bottomless chips go down well . New menu good and great place for family meals, as well as playground for kiddies.
Disaster of meal. Lukewarm soups , risotto ruined, and hair in potatoes . If you're a vegetarian be prepared to be served the quiche with some potatoes on the side (see pic). Awful.
staff very helpful. arrived just as kitchen had closed and woman at front desk made me a cheese plate . and they carried my bag to my room. made me feel very at home after long trip to UK.

Further to my tip. I too mean the manager Luke . There was a guy behind the bar with short dark hair that was also called luke who was friendly and helpful
Gastro pub ?! Nope.
The manager luke is a twat. Gave us the worst customer service. Told a group of 7 there was no space even when there was. Then we had to make our table in the bar and get our own menus. :(
Don't expect Luke to give you customer service. He won't. In fact we pushed our own tables together in the bar as there was no room in the restaurant apparently. I looked. It was empty. Useless
Don't come expecting a gastropub . Food is passable, but only just.
