Excellent sushi prepared by Japanese chefs . Sit at the sushi bar to see your food prepared in front of you and order directly from the chef . One Michelin star since 2002 and lives up to the promise!

Delicious Japanese food . You only select beef or Sushi and they serve starter, soup , sesami, tempura , sushi or beef and dessert .very good vine selection and atmosphere . Expensive.

I really enjoyed the concept and had fun trying one of the seasonal tasting menus . Nevertheless, the sushi is still the best thing by far. If I visit again, I will order only that :-)

Very nice traditional ambiance. Top quality traditional Japanese food . Sushi , sashimi , tempura etc. Service is perfect. Lovely Japanese garden view . Good sake and wine choices. Expensive but it worth.

The best place for kaiseki in Amsterdam. It does come at a steep price though, and it wouldn't hurt bringing a bit more atmosphere to the place. But the food keeps me coming back for more..

This was an experience. It's a full evening and a recommendation - pace yourself. The presentation is exquisite and the service glorious. Sushi is some of the best I've ever had. A don't miss.

The sashimi dish with salmon trapped in a cage of ice is both spectacular and divine! And do try the different sakes they have to offer.

The food was so good that it literally ruined my taste palette for 3 days. Anything that I ate afterwards tasted bland compared to the food in Yamazato. 10/10

The food and service was lovely but didn’t feel like it was head and shoulders above other Japanese places I’ve been. You won’t be disappointed but you might not be blown away, either.

Come with an appetite, you’ll need it. Other than that, great service and nice dishes though flavors were quite familiar.
