The soup base for the congee is made from pork bones , lean pork and dried scallops which is then simmered for hours. The portion is big with fresh ingredients . And of course, reasonably priced ;) Read more
Great congee . Choose the ingredients u like. Tiny space so be prepared to share table and squeeze during peak hours. Prefer not to have the spring onions and ginger soak in the soy sauce condiment.
Excellent congee here. Cheap , quick and with big portions . Fish & pig liver congees are excellent here. Only problem is their fried dough sticks tend to run out early.
So good! Get some congee with dace (fish ) and chicken noodles . They also have breakfast menus (either yellow or blue menu) that doesn't have an English translation, but awesome regardless!
The fish belly congee is the best and is a must try, served with generous portion of fish which is sweet and tender. The pig liver congee is also good.
It was the best Congee I’ve ever had and I can see why the restaurant was so crowded . I am definitely going back again. Try it!!!
They have English menus as well . Go for the more adventurous congee ; that's what they're known for. Any congee with fish is a good start.

Best congee in this part of the island . Make sure you get there early cos some popular items sell out fast,. Closes on sundays

Just walk in sit down and eat and leave. Don't look around. People mind their own businesses. Full of people but scary quiet .
They are very generous with the amount of fish in their famous congee , but I think I prefer the lean pork and preserved egg . English menu available.

Both the清湯牛腩 at lunchtime and the 皮蛋瘦肉粥 at breakfast for a wonderful.
The Pork Meatballs Porridge with Preserved Eggs would be my preferred choice. The fish porridge is cleaner or perhaps somewhat bland....
Very decent Beef Brisket and Beefball noodles ! Congee is also very nice!

Famous for congee but can be watery at times, ask for "geet dai" (thicker). Beef brisket decent too.
I ordered a chicken congee and it took considerably longer than my other table mates. It's probably because it's not a common dish
