Favorite hotel in Downtown LA. The rooms are great, though I'd recommend upgrading to one with a balcony . Verve Coffee is just around the corner, Tanner Goods and APC too for some light shopping.
Always love Ace Hotel . Every detail is spot on & it's a hub of activity. The DTLA location proved to be SUPER loud - the bar above us was completely audible all night long. Impossible to sleep.

I can’t claim to tell you whether or not it’s still as cool as it once was, but I enjoyed my stay. Comfortable room , classic Ace style, and good food and beverage options.
We love the laid-back atmosphere. Staff is great, and the rooms are quite large. Interior decoration is industrial meets hipster . A must stay if you like this.
We stayed here (along with all of our out-of-town guests) for our wedding and are so glad we did. Staff and food were both great, rooftop can't be beat.

Mixing Art Deco and Spanish-style influences like carved wood, colored tile, and metal spires, the hotel décor is minimal, modern California aesthetic, a mix of traditional and contemporary .
Trendy hotel with thoughtfully designed rooms & helpful staff . Check out the bar on the roof and have breakfast in the restaurant downstairs!
Relaxing room, great view rooftop bar , perfect location to enjoy cool vibe of DTLA.
I loved the atmosphere and the room as I enter. There is a guitar in the room ❤️ All details are to the point: we're living in a studio!
Boasting sweet views of Downtown, the rooftop bar at the Ace Hotel comes with a better than average set of cocktails . The crowd seems to be one that's usually more than eager to party and mingle. Read more
Ground floor restaurant is always good. Opens 6am for you early birds. Sit in mezzanine for a bit more privacy if you're a celebrity 😎
LOVE everything about the Ace downtown - restaurant , coffee shop ,rooftop pool and bar . TOTALLY AWESOME!!
Great music venue . Not too small or not too big. Perfect for the Smashing Pumpkins ! 👍
Most beautiful, stylish hotel I have ever been to. Amazing rooftop , amazing staff , rooms are clean and well furnished
Let me say that upstairs is an excellent bar . They have the greatest cocktails 🍹 you have got to try the Queen E. cocktail is mind blowing
The view is to die for, come for the food and drinks, and stay for the sunset views !
Amazing hotel , rooms, rooftop , vibes.
Disclosure: I used to love the Ace chain (Been to Portland, NYC, London), but I think now, in 2018, it all feels dated. Rooms are too over-designed to be practical (had to call for an ironing board).
Another great Ace (for hanging out at least). The restaurant LA Chapter is by the Five Leaves guys in Brooklyn. Rooftop is really nice. Wouldn't suggest staying here as the rooms are small and noisy .
Okay location and cool aesthetic, though a smaller room than I expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
This is my favorite Ace (don't tell NY). Take the time to look up the history of the building and the theatre .

Really cool designed rooms. And an amazing burger on room service . It's the place to be in LA.
Amazing decor and good vibes. Check out the rooftop for great drinks and views .
The restrooms on the roof are probably the nicest I've ever set foot in as far as public establishments go. You may laugh at this but I take these things kinda seriously.
Grab a punch bowl at their rooftop bar !
Hear the bar upstairs and the street downstairs. Gym has 4 pieces of cardio & weights.
Checked in for one quick night, but the pool was closed for an event 😩 Not very much common space. Rooms are lovely though and the food was great.
A lil too hipster for me. Rooms are small and dark. Black steel. A lil prison like. They even have soap on roap
The entrance for the roof is the door on the right side of the building. Take the elevator up, and get a frozen drink . Read more
Flawlessly designed down to the pencils and paper in room, pity that the room otherwise resembles a cold, dark, hipster prison cell.
Edgy joint with a nice whisky selection and decent prices.
Get a room on the higher levels - inspiring views !!
Please have the grilled octopus and the sea bass as well at the restaurant . Delicious!
Friendly and nice design
Can't say much for the hotel itself but the rooftop bar on a quiet sunny day is terrific.
Rooftop bar that's popular on weekends. If you don't go early you will have to wait in a line .
Small rooms. In room snacks and alcohol hop and priced great! Very standard “ace hotel ” feel though
Modern, cool and real place downtown. Great view !
Cool vibe and there was live music while we were there - fun times.
Great vibes. Bad drinks
Bartenders on the rooftop are *excellent*, but the place needs a few more ... super long waits for drinks.
AVOCADO TOAST ! DO IT!
The chicken sandwich is TOO GOOD.
Worth seeing a show here simply for seeing the inside of such a gorgeous theater. Plus there's a great restaurant at the Ace as well as a fun bar on the roof when it isn't slammed. - Adrian Phillips
Really cool place...the launge is nice and for dinning the two restaurants are amazing! - Rubens De Lucca
The restaurant 25 degrees is very tasty. A bit pricy but worth it for what I got. Love the old bar in the main Plaza inside. - Pamela Brooks
Utterly outstanding experience - I stay in A LOT of hotels & am very particular about service, but I'm truly blown away. Great room product & location, but the staff are all star. Hugely recommend. - Kelly
