King Neptune's

This is one of the few places with good service around Gulf Shores. The soft shell crab and steamed crab are both fantastic! Favorite place to eat here!

The atmosphere is small mom and pop type but the food is delightful! Try the Golden Fried Seafood Platter or Broiled Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp . Don't forget to order the fried cheesecake !

Ordered my tuna seared and they got it just right. Ordered it seared at a different local seafood restaurant and it was far from it. Great lunch specials too.

Seafood nachos are a good appetizer or meal.

Get there early or between lunch and dinner if you don't want to wait. Food is superb and extremely popular.

Went for lunch . Excellent food! Had the grilled and blackened shrimp...highly recommend!

Its sad the portions have shrunk so much over the years I stopped going last year we stopped in to get something in the portions for about 1 small ice cream scoops ice cream

Share a piece of praline fried cheesecake with a friend (or three!)

The peach daquerie is yummy and so is the grilled shrimp . I also heard great things about the soft shell crab po-boy, aka the "spider burger ".

Shrimp po boy was delicious, but hard to eat as a sandwich . Otherwise, loved everything here.

Order the Steamed Royal Red Shrimp or a Grilled Shrimp Skewer - either one puts a smile on your face

Had the coconut shrimp . It was tasty! And then I was sick for 2 days.

Get there early and try a cup of the Corn and Crab Bisque

$2.50 well drinks and margaritas/bloody marys! Lots of baked options and Cajun goodness!

Gumbo is full of okra with tiny shrimp , 5 pieces of sausage and a DASH of rice . Fat bar tender (to go order cashier ) was very rude to my mother. Never returning!!!

Bizarre menu... Done things you can only get till 2 pm, others till 4 pm, and others till 6 pm.

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill since the last time we came. Service was pretty lousy, food was not as good, and portions were a lot smaller. Too bad, was one of our favorites.

Server acted like we were imposing on her, menu is bizarre , militant about not bringing a separate cup in for little ones - ended up canceling our order and leaving. Just a bad experience. Avoid.

The bathrooms are OUTSIDE. I couldn't bring in just a drink from somewhere else. Nasty dive--don't recommend it.

Not impressed at all! Panko chicken with Dijon sauce? More like white gravy with clumps of flour in it. Yuck!

And rude, crappy waitstaff .
