Free guided night star gazing with from 6-10pm every night. Catch the sunset from a ridge across the street, about a 15 min walk. It seemed foggy driving up but it cleared by nightfall.

6 to 10 PM observation rocks. Pick a no moon night. Go around back to restroom area to see the Milky Way in summer.

Awesome place. Short hike from the observatories. Dress warm, it may be cold and windy. Walk slowly to adjust to high altitude. - Mike R.
