If you go to the East Side of the River there are great boulders to climb and a fantastic view of Palmerton. If you go to the west side of the river there's a camping shelter (public) and wilderness.
venue is tricky to get to. The add is 8844 Paint Mill Rd Slatington, PA 18080 but you need to continue on Paint Mill Road under bridge , then 200 yards to the parking lot on left.
