My son and I can build stuff at Invention Convention all day. The best family entertainment value in Houston. There is so much here you can't do it all in one visit.
We went on a free night. So wasn't shocked that it was packed. My 17,4& 3 yr old had a blast....ok so did I! Beautifully set up, lots of fun things to do. We ate at the cafe & the food was yummy!
The kids really liked the secret agent mission for kids of 8 years and above. Bit pricey though at $20
Park for free at the centennial gardens by Hermann Park . Kids should bring sneakers to do any climbing or active stuff (or your kids might be really upset). The tot spot is perfect for babies.
Awesome place for the kids! So many activities, events , and Thursdays are totally free!!! Awesome water works play area for the kids as well !:3
Amazing for kids and adults. Lots of things to do indoor and outdoor. Expect to spend at least 4 hours here.
One of the best children 's Museums I've been to! So interactive; even my 18mo had a blast! Don't overlook HEB and the restaurant !!
If you have small kids, go straight to the Tot Spot on the second floor. Perfect for toddlers !
Always a good place to have fun with the kids, a lot of activities for hours to play and discover.
Outside area in the summer is great. The younger kids room upstairs is wonderful too. Free Thur nights are very crowded .
You will enjoy the dance revolution not only for children but for all ages
Very cool place to visit! Don't go during free admission night, way too many kids around to be able to experience what the museum has to offer
A little over priced, but there is tons of activities for the kids to do. It could be very educational experience, but my kids mostly ran around like hooligans, rather than trying to learn anything.
My kids love this place! It's a must go with kids of all ages. They could stay for hours and hours, but it is always so crowded !!
Fun for kids and adults alike. Fun interactive areas for kids to explore, experiment, and make believe.

Awesome museum but on a warm day in May, I felt hypothermic since they keep the temperature so low.
Their Thursday Free Family Nights , Family Adventures, and special educator membership make it affordable for all.
