Trendy refurbished historical area like XinTianDi. I heard it was the foreign club area back in the 1920’s. Cool combination of historical and modern architecture .
1924 年，軍閥忙著在江浙交戰，公共租界的洋人們趁機越過租界，在農田修路。安和寺路（今新華路）和哥倫比亞路（今番禺路）就是工部局越界築路的成果。 90 多年前，這是居住在上海公共租界的美國僑民聚會之所。這裡依然有上海唯一一個保留了英制尺寸的游泳池。池旁是一幢巴洛克建築，内外保存完好，壁爐上刻有盾牌形的logo，上有13 顆星，下是嵌套起的3 個英文字母C——美國鄉村總會的縮寫，哥倫比亞圈得名於此
