My best friend and I travel to Westbrook every two weeks at least for Lobster Roll which is well stuffed sweet and always delicious...the best anywhere...

The soft shell crab was fried perfectly, crisp but not at all greasy. Definitely would order again. But the dessert (apple pie + vanilla ice cream ) was lacking. Stick to their seafood ; you'll love it!
Try the red Birch Beer . You cant go wrong with a scallop , shrimp , or lobster roll . Get the platter and you can change out the coleslaw for a salad and a side of boiled red potatoes .
The broiled swordfish is so moist and juicy! I've had it several times and it is always perfectly cooked! Try it!
Any other fish chowder you may eat elsewhere will pale in comparison to the chowder here. The best!

Fried scallops here cannot be beat, simply excellent.
Food is really bland and definitely previously frozen. Even the stuff that said fresh tasted frozen. The bread was good but the best thing was the pie that wasn't even made here.
Gotta have the fried zucchini strips.
