Shore Temple

The glorious Shore Temple, one of the oldest in South India , stands on the sea shore with its paved forecourts. See the great Bas-relief of Arjuna's penance, the five Rathas, the Mahishasura Mardhini

The best times here are sunrise and sunset for great pictures, avoid weekends and surely if you love history this is a place you can soak into and don’t miss seeing a lot of the broken monuments

A structural temple along the Bay of Bengal with the entrance from the western side away from the sea. Recent excavations have revealed new structures here.

世界遺産 。インド 人以外は入場料250RSとお高いです。朝は6:30から開いてるので予定は組み立て安い と思います。正直やや「ガッカリ」系だけど、せっかく来たのであれば行った実績は作った方が良いと思います。 Read more
