House of Jasmine

All dishes seem to be cocked with more attention to details than in most Chinese restaurants I've known until now. One can really feel the flavors.

The desserts are a must! But there were too many bones in the main dishes (pork and duck ).

Must order: deep fried squid coated with salty egg yolk and pineapple pastry stuffed w diced abalone and chicken

If you don't want the pre-meal snacks , please notify the waitress before it is served.

Watch out for those little tricks to make you pay out more, eg, the "starters" you didn't order that they put on your table - they are not free. Even if cancelled, they leave it on your bill!

Just so-&-so dim sum and noodle but nice harbour view ...

good location, delicious food, but small portions.

Watch out! I cannot understand why a "good" restaurant would want to scam their customers out of a few more HK$ by charging for starters not ordered and which are cancelled!

chill spot outside with great harbor view clear away from TST tourist crowds.

The waitress are quite absent-minded. Service has degraded.

Chill at the outdoor area and enjoy the awesome night view of Hong Kong!

Try alfresco overlooking the harbour . Great view . Dimsum was on average note. Rather expensive . Service was mediocre.

The staff aren't cordial and the dishes are dirty . Didn't expect this from this kind of place. I guess Maxim's is falling into the gutter.
