Ive been going here for years. My favorite is the lobster melt, lobster pie and the blueberry muffin . Supper friendly service but be prepared to wait. Long lines in the summer
The "2's Are Wild" Breakfast Specialty is a ton of food. You get eggs , sausage , bacon , toast , and two huge blueberry pancakes . An awesome value for a great meal.
The Blueberry Pancakes are Huge! The Baked Scallops are Sweet and Savory, the Corn Muffins are melt in your mouth good and the Seafood Chowder is worth the trip!
Everyone I ate with this morning was extremely happy with their breakfasts . I had to have my own and find split the almond french toast with my mom. Biggest biscuit ever with the country breakfast !
DDD’s Wells (ME) diner famous for MUST-TRY Lobster Pot Pie , Lobster Club & Lobster Benedict . Pass on Potato salad & soups since Seafood Chowder was watery & Clam Chowder was sour & cheesy..WORST ever!
Ordered the DDD. Seafood stew , Cod cake and Lobster pie . Stew was perfect Creamy n lots of seafood . Cod cake was huge, lightly breaded perfectly cooked. Lobster pie was the bomb.
Lobster roll here was the best one I’ve had. I don’t think we’ve ever had anything we weren’t 100% happy with, and we’ve visited several times.
The Eddie Andelman was super delicious. Waitress was amazing she was so friendly and helpful. Thank you guys for a great meal!
Words cannot describe how good this place is. A must stop if you are in the area. Lobster anything and blueberry anything are a must here.
The Lobster Pie is great! And the beer and wine are both super cheap . A great place to eat. Just anticipate a wait because it's always crowded .
The clam chowder soup is awesome here and breakfast is good here too. Don't miss out on the awesome clam chowder soup at Maine Diner !! 😀
I had the lobster Mac & cheese . It was GREAT Service was excellent. Well worth the wait and price
Worth any wait. This place is amazing. Cod cakes are great for dinner and even better as eggs Benedict .
Had the lobster mack & cheese . It was really good and priced right. The wife had a great turkey club sandwich . We are definitely coming back.
Owner needs to see the dirt and grime everywhere get rid of needless things on every surface, paint repair restore CLEAN . Food’s good enough, prices ok, service is good enough hostess is crabby
Located at the farthest north point on Route 1 in Wells before you hit the Kennebunk line , The Maine Diner is an institution that has been featured on so many food shows - who can count.
The Lobster Pie doesn’t look particularly noteworthy—it’s just a crock full of dark, greenish-brown bread crumbs . But oh, below that rich crust, you hit pay dirt: jumbo hunks of fresh lobster . Read more
Though it may look like a tourist trap with its adjacent gift shop , its 30-year history, loyal clientele of locals, and vegetable garden set it apart from the average roadside spot.
The chicken pot pie was yummy! Breakfast good and plentiful. Lobster club enjoyable too!
Everything with lobster and both chowders are delicious! Very fast service , too.
Fantastic place a must stop for the best in chowder & seafood .
Native Maine blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup ... Do it, now!
Great Cod Cakes and Hot Lobster Rolls . Highly recommend
Great family restaurant , long menu, Lobster pie very good!
The lobster rolls are amazing! The wait will be long but sooooo worth it.
Food is awesome, Staff is super friendly and the service is good.
Omelets are great. Can’t go wrong ordering breakfast here.
Had breakfast here; breakfast burrito and coffee were extremely average. Apparently known for their lobster pie which I did not get to try.
For all it's fame, I was expecting to be blown away. The seafood chowder is delicious, but I've had better. And while the lobster pie was tasty, chock full of meat, it lacked in flavor.
Best Mac and cheese I have ever tasted. And the stuffed mushrooms are to die for.
Best seafood chowder and Indian pudding . Amazing.
Great fries that came with the DDD. Slaw was perfect too
There is a reason the "Seafood Chowder " is award winning...do yourself a favor and order it.
Yum! Lots of options on the menu.
Seafood chowder lives up to the hype. The blueberry pie is another standout.
