Design Museum

Interesting stuff from Finnish design classics (Iittala, Arabia, Marimekko, Fiskars etc.) to foreign artists like Dutch Daan Roosegaarde. 3 level museum next to Architecture museum .

Usually there is a nice exhibition of some kind of Nordic design. Two exhibition spaces. Designmuseo has a collection of Finnish fashion and interior design . Lovely space.

There is a fine line between aesthetics and functionality, and it seems that Scandinavians feel it better than anyone else.

One of the best museums in Helsinki. Always something interesting on display and an excellent new shop&cafe concept to rest your feet.

You can find here the history of Finnish design , with all the examples. Temporary exhibitions are often pretty interesting too.

Take a tour of the museum and completely avoid the design district which is pure crap.

Pretty nice furniture exposition . But photographing prohibited here. Must see to understand Finnish people little bit more.

Some modern art was interesting. The museum is a bit small but charming.

The museum and cafe are great, also the benches outside have wifi and afternoon sun.

Cafe and shop are delightful and the exhibitions good. Check out the bathroom - it's pretty!

The only art objects I really liked we're "The Shadow. The Wayfarer. The Shadow of the Past" and "The burning bush". That's it.

Небольшой музей ,но напомнил Помпиду в Париже частью экспонатов. В целом понравилось, можно получить вдохновение творческому человеку.Билеты 5€,студентам 3€.

Главными экспонатами постоянной выставки музея дизайна Финляндии являются знаменитые ножницы Fiskars, обычные табуретки IKEA (придуманные в Финляндии) и стеклянная посуда .

РАЗОЧАРОВАНИЕ!!! у финнов очень мощная школа дизайна с разнообразными и интересными идеями... музей , к сожалению, не даёт представления о истории развития и масштабе финской дизайн-индустрии.. :(

На самом деле постоянную выставку можно назвать выставкой быта Финляндии, но проследить изменения во вкусах из года в год все же удастся.

На втором этаже музея экспозиции носят временный характер - здесь как повезет. Посещение по Helsinki Card - бесплатно.

Не плохая площадка. Есть на что посмотреть. Есть интересные экземпляры.

フィンランドのブランド を代表する、プロダクトの博物館 。英語がもっと読めたら、きっともっとおもしろかった。

Так себе музей . Больше похоже на финский магазин , в котором нельзя ничего купить, и вход стоит 5 евро.

Трата денег в пустую, не интересно! Какая то площадка для младенцев.
