Symphony of Lights is a public art Tsim Sha Tsui located in Hong Kong.
Victoria Harbour Hong Kong
Everyday at 8pm a big light show animates all the skyscrapers along the harbor . Lasers and cheesy music included. Definitely worth a stroll along the Victoria Harbour , Kowloon side .
Whilst the backdrop is great, the light show itself is underwhelming. I would recommend the one at Marina Bay , Singapore over this.
Good Marketing & overrated, I think this is not the best show that I ever saw. The best place to watch the show is at the rooftop near The Former Kowloon Train Clock Monument #Traveling #HongKong
Watching the show of lights was amazing! Be sure to be on time though. Wish we have something like this in our country too! For more, check out our page: https://deartravellingknot.wordpress.com/
Though that the show would be much better than this , didn't wow me much . But it's acceptable to visit . But the city view it self is amazing .
Don't stop at the first place you see. Duck to the right in front of the cultural center . All the pictures you see are time-lapsed. It's not nearly as cool as the marketing .
Well nothing special. Just a few lights on the Hong Kong buildings. Sunset 6pm on September, much more wow than the show.
Watch the lightshow at night from the Avenue of the Stars. Make sure to get there early to get a good spot on the harbor .
Doesnt worth seeing at all!! It is just definitely not what you expect to see. Just check out the evening view (amazing) from this spot, but dont wait for the show
Magnificent and great for tourists . 'Nuff said!
Nightly show at 8 p.m. on good weather. Better view of the building lights from Kowloon side . Come early to the viewing deck of the HK Cultural Centre.
Corny video game music in the background while some buildings flash lasers into the sky and blind pilots into aggression. Don't make your plans around this.
This skyline needs no adornment. Impressive only for the coordination that must have been required between the various building owners. Tacky classical music .
It's completely shit. You can hardly tell the difference between the 'show' and the buildings just being lit up at night.
Show is fun, but not worth getting there super early to get the best possible viewing spot.
Bit lame really. The skyline itself is way more impressive. Come anytime after sunset for a stunning view . The show itself is pretty lame
Starts at 8pm - get there early for a seat
We got a good seat facing the harbour at Ozone inside Ritz Calton. Waited 2hrs only to get a lacklustre show.
Don't bother. Night view of the skyline is spectacular from both sides anytime after sunset . But the light show isn't even worth the name.
Runs from 20.00-20.10pm. Fun to watch but nowhere near as cool as I was expecting. Probably a bit outdated, they need to make use of new technologies to give it more wow factor
We were at the Mandarin version so we might have missed the point, but it's quite boring. It's happening on both sides!
If you Visit HK, try this simple tour !
The hype far exceeds the reality. Don't bother. Just go to Kowloon Public Pier anytime after sunset (avoid 7.30-8.30) and snap away without the maddening crowds. Your photos will be just as good.
Stay close to the open area of the Cultural Center to have the best view of both sides of the harbour
I was underwhelmed, but it's something you have to see by your own!
It's sooo beautiful! A must-see in Hong Kong ☆
View panorama
You must be disappointed. I guarantee :(
Nothing impressed except the vintage boat, and Bruce Lee/Anita Mui's statue .Guess what,I got my proposal at here!
it is one big joke of a show!!. No symphony to hear with all around you are talking or more like screaming at each other... AND what or which lights?... spend your time somewhere else...
Light show which is not very special, but good to see.
Best viewed from Ave of the Stars
The further away from the Star Ferry the smaller the crowds.
I can watch the symphony of lights everyday and never get bored :)
Okay but nothing special - most interesting section between BoA Merrrill Lynch and HSBC. Music is nice but commentary is mostly advertorial.
Overrated experience, if you happen to be in the neighbourhood, by all means stay for a few minutes, but don't travel there especially to see it.
Starts 8pm. Grab a seat on Kowloon side for best view .
Pretty sure the lights from across the bay and sound at TST don't sync up...
The music sounds like a Casio keyboard on demo mode...
Good view of HK island but the light show is boring.
Show starts at 8pm
Be on time and enjoy the show.
Be there early!
More of a tourist distraction rather than attraction
Tacky light show, was told there were fireworks but there were not the day I visited. Ok if you're in the area anyway but not worth a special trip.
Amazing :) nice show
The one I saw 4 years ago was awesone. But this one in May 2012 is apparently a boring overrated show of light blinkings.
Show start at 20.00
Nice lasers.
A let down for me.
Gorgeous 360 views with the Buddha in the background. A good stop on the Lantau Trail! - Joel Savitzky
Can get the best view from viewing deck day and night 😍 - Sahar Siraj Almufti
Very cheap ride. Must for the experience sake and a must do when visiting Hong Kong. - Bruce The Shark
