One of my most favorite places for walks in the Cbus area. Beautiful. Peaceful . Spacious . More trees than you can imagine. Old family cemetery . Ponds . Multiple trails . Japanese Garden . Many benches .
One of the premier public gardens in North America, The Dawes Arboretum has more than 1,800 acres of plant collections , gardens and natural areas.
Great place to get clarity and walk, smell, explore and become part of nature. If you come alone on a weekend, you will see that this place is very couple friendly
There is an Indian Mound on the east side of the arboretum. Stop at the visitors center to sign in and then take the tunnel under SR 13. Trail is unimproved and uphill.
They are doing amazing might hikes here! Call them to find out dates and times! Well worth your time! My husband and I, as well as our 5 year old and 8 year old! :-)
Awesome foliage, perfect picture taking areas, not crowded .

Look for the Marie Hicky trail which has great views. Good places for picture taking. Not recomended for small kids. High climb to get to the top and some fencing issues. - Lee Bundy
