Korean bar food makes for the best companion to your evening's merriment, with small bites and snacks that go well with beer and soju . The dark ambiance transports you to a back alley joint in Seoul. Read more
Chef Suzanne Goin of AOC loves Korean food , and this is one of her favorite late-night hangouts with super tasty food. She always order scallion pancakes to go with the steamed pork belly . Yum! Read more
Best Korean Restaurant in Ktown ... Me and my friends had a great time! cheers ~~ we will be back very soon !!!!Food is Fantastic , Service is Friendly and Atmosphere is to die 4 .
Lunch Box , House Kimchi Stew , Skewers - gizzards , beef intestines(tripas), pork belly , Korean style Hash Brown to soak up goodness. Great place to hang with friends.
fav Korean pub with old school vibes! rice cakes + ramen , kimchee pancake , spicy fried chicken , soups/stews, & corn cheese . Didn’t love the skewers and hand rolls . Get the grapefruit rice wine .
the corn cheese is incredible, the deep fried blood sausage is a thing of dreams... not to mention how amazing it is that it’s open late . i cherish this place and am so happy to live closeby
Such a fun place to go with friends on a weekend. It gets pretty crowded , but they get people in and out quickly. Environment is super lively , and the food is great. So many different things to try.
Their corn cheese very delicious here. One of the best I've ever had. If you like spicy must try the Chicken Gangjung Boneless ... very spicy unless u requested it
Expect the food to be much better pub fare, with skewers , wings , savory pancakes , and plenty of other drinking grub that goes great late into the night. Read more
Try the kimchi omelette . The eggs are very fluffy and the kimchi isnt overpowering. And you know that the eggs will help with your hangover later from the soju and beer .
The raspberry wine is super sweet and comes with enough for 3 or 4 people. Highly recommend the skewers . Brush up on your chopsticks skills if you need to. They don't do forks.
At this old-school, traditional Korean restaurant , Tony Bourdain drank makali (a fermented rice drink), and samples chicken gizzards and spicy octopus .
the skewers were great at this korean "pojangmacha", the korean equivalent of a japanese izakaya (or gastropub ). recommended with makgeoli .
Exceptional Atmosphere, Great Service and Always Delicious .. My Favorite Soju Spot
Feel transported in this dark, smoky bar in Koreatown. Order a round of soju for the table and plenty of drinking snacks .
Ahhhh makkoli!!! ;) sizzling corn cheese , omlette (계란말이), rappoki, spicy chicken wings !! mix soju n hite (Korean beer ) very good! :P
Very dark, decorated (themed) old world Korean pub feel. When they say spicy , they mean it! Takes some time for the food to be prepped. Empty during the day, fills around 7.
Loved the Kimchi hand roll , i mean everything is pretty dang good. I only wasn't crazy about the frog legs .
Must get the corn cheese ! The grapefruit makgeolli (자몽 막걸리) is good too!
This place hits the spot after hitting the bars . Grab a beer in a mug and find a dark booth to slurp noodles .
Awesome little Korean bar food spot in LA themed like North Korea.
Such a rippin space, but maybe stick with drinks and skewers ?
Grab their spicy ribs ! So bomb.
Ridiculously authentic , the kimchi jeon is fantastic and so is the ddeokbboki
The blackberry wine is really tasty, as is the yogurt soju and the cherry blossom wine .
The skewers are $1.99 on most items. If you are just snacking and drinking, it's an affordable way to spend the night
shrimp skewer was the best👍🏼
Drafts (all Japanese) are $10 😖
Worst experience. Menu is super cryptic with ~100 options on it. Waitress was uninterested, had no patience and got almost angry, wasn't willing to help or recommend sth at all. Bad bad service.
Corn cheese and Korean ramen !
Very divey, it's very much like a bazaar
Food is okay, skewers mostly. But it’s cheap and the vibes are immaculate
Korean omelette , soju , lunch box
LA Weekly's Best of LA 2010 pick - Best-Late Night Korean/Best Kim Jong Il Mural !
SO GOOD! The shrimp is fantastic!
Holy sweet baby Buddha. The grapefruit makkoli is SO. GOOD.
Yummy~! #good #yummy #korean
Awesome vibe, but stick to drinking...not eating.
Makgeoli , corn cheese , ddeokbokki
Yogurt soju
Best Chicken Wings in town . And Ddeokbokki!!
Bring a lock with you to bind your love!
Yogurt soju
Chicken gizzards are meh.
LA Weekly's Best of LA 2010 pick - Best Late-Night Korean/Best Kim Jong Il Mural !
Makgeolli , hite, and soju triple threat.
they don't have forks. bring your own.
Seafood pancakes and tuna/kimchi soup are yummy!
This is the best Korean BBQ I've found in K-town
Garrett loves the tea !
Wonderful pork/beef bbq dishes, ban chan great service. Drink lots of soju with your friends and take a picture with a cut out of Kang Ho-Dong. Gopchang means intestines but we didn't try any.. - Danielle Neufeld
노래방은 언제나 신나요~♥ rooms are pretty good n sound system is really good! friendly service n full bar! can't go wrong with this place :) - Jinnie L
Three things. 낙지볶음 (spicy octopus noodles) 누룽지탕 (burnt rice soup) 요구르트소주 (yogurt soju). Yes. - Suzy Ryoo
